Tunnel Radio provides underground communication and personnel tracking systems for mining operations. Their systems include wireless radios and readers that track tags worn by miners and display their locations on software maps in real-time. Diagnostics from the readers can be viewed on the software including signal levels and equipment statuses. The software also allows viewing employee information and histories, setting alerts, and searching for miners by name, ID or location. Tunnel Radio is developing new gas detection and air quality monitoring devices as well.
