individual and group work, social skills tolerance, respect and wise
non verbal communication deeper knowledge among students
cooperation and participation. Relevant for second language
learning.
• Understanding that participation is a relevant point in the use of
games, it is showed that the majority of the students like to
participate.
• In the first cycle the topics from the syllabus are easy to relate with
different games, and it is clear that students have a better
understanding of these topics by using games. Because of some
factors such as age, and attention spans.
18. Recommendations
Teachers should be aware of the importance to promote English as
a fun subject instead of make it look as a tedious and even boring
subject for most of the students.
Teachers should take into consideration the likes and dislikes of the
students in order to apply games that will call students
attention, while they are learning. By taking into account students
opinion the teacher will make students feel important during the
process.
The teacher should notice the benefits of using games regularly in
the process of teaching. Games constitute a break from the
classroom routine, allowing them to participate and get engaged in a
communicative activity which main purpose is to give them the
opportunity to use the target language.
