Participating in a study abroad program allows you to travel to a foreign country, enroll in courses and then transfer the credits back to your UTSA degree. You can learn a new language, study a new culture, undertake an internship in your field, or simply take a full semester of electives. UTSA offers numerous program options to help you fulfill requirements for your major, minor, electives and even core requirements! Study abroad is, above all, an academic program. Students are required to pursue a full course load while on a study abroad program. Since you will get credit for your courses, and sometimes grades, you want to make sure to do your best!
