Upper Second Class Bsc Hons in Chemistry with Chemical Engineering with 4
years of Industrial Process Engineering Design Experience
PERSONAL PROFILE:
I am a strong fine candidate driven with passion for engineering. I am a well focused individual, who enjoys working in a
team or independently, in either case I have good inter-personal skills to lead the project on all levels of communication
and work efficiently.
As a Process Engineer I have gained vast amount of knowledge in processes related to bulk powder handling and storage
systems in various engineering Process sectors such as wastewater treatment, cleanwater treatment plants, flue gas
treatment, petrochemical equipment package plants , cement and aggregate handling systems, Grout mixing Plants for the
Nuclear waste disposal facilities in each different sector I have learnt that a different approach is required to effectively
execute the projects without incurring liability costs on agreed deliverable.
Throughout each project my involvement can begin from assisting the pre-sales team with information helping them in the
tender stage, with large amount of my time spent in the design stage compiling project deliverables and the relevant design
documents. Occasionally involved with communicating
Having successfully completed a postgraduate diploma in Chemical Engineering with Design at the University of
Manchester it has enabled me to pursue my career further in engineering innovation and creative problem solving, my aim
work with employers who continue to support and develop individuals like myself to the next level.

Research Project
The Research project was to demonstrate and compare the difference between various heat exchangers and their best mode
of heat transfer across two streams using a number of variables, the work involved analysis of cooling rates in cooling
towers be it fan assisted or draft, plate heat exchangers, concentric tubes and jacketed pan using immersed coil vessels.

2. Work experience:
February 2012 – Current –Portasilo bulk handling systems Ltd, working with Portasilo has been a very rewarding career in
a lot of aspects, especially as being part of a very Dynamic Process Design team where completing the tasks within time
scale was crucial to the project delivery and cost. Day to day activities involved working on Process deliverable documents;
such as HAZOPS, Explosion Hazard Reviews, compiling Process Control Philosophy’s, writing equipment specifications,
compiling Instrument Schedules, Commissioning documents. Other areas involved liaising with the purchasing department
procuring equipment is delivered on time. Over the vourse of four years I have also built an excellent relation with suppliers
of valves and bulk handling equipment suppliers.
Various Short Courses Undertaken at University of Greenwich Wolfson Centre of Bulk Solids Handling Technology
July 2009 – February 2012 – Stephenson group ltd Chemical Manufacturers- Position Technical Service Manager, my
duties involved dealing with technical process issues on high volume batch processes. other work involved advising and
training plant work force, develop safe working process practice in a plant production environment, duties also involved
supervise and train placement students for QC, other duties included product development of new products this included
creating formulation to meet customer needs, taking lab scale pilot plant batches to large scale process manufacture under
strict ISO standards, other responsibilities included Improving and implementation of methods for QC analysis. One of
major achievements of excellence was reducing process batch time from 24 hours to 3 hours.
Placement year 2007 Stephenson’s Group Ltd Chemical Manufacturers
Skills acquired:
Other work involved using graphical methods to express product properties and rates of reaction of processes in
development for the future work, research in developing cheaper chemical alternatives, aiming to either maintain or
improving the product quality.
