The Ghent Workgroup is an international organization established in 2002 to develop and maintain graphic arts workflow specifications and promote their adoption. It has over 21 industry association members from 13 countries in Europe and North America. The group aims to specify best practices for PDF files and processes in packaging, premedia, and cross-media graphic arts workflows. It produces specifications, application settings, test suites, and educational documents available on its website.
