(These numbers do not include Sunday School, Bible Classes or our 5 Preaching Stations)
WELCOME VISITORS! – We are very happy that you chose to join us and pray that you feel the
warmth of the Son as you worship with us today. Please fill out the Fellowship Pad in the pew rack with
the date, your name(s), address, etc. (use extra lines if needed). We invite you to come back soon. Visiting
children are welcome to attend Sunday School during the 9:15am service; registration forms are in the
office hallway. Please talk to an usher for more information.
THE NURSERY IS FOR YOUR TODDLER – Children (toddling thru 3 years old) are welcome to the
Nursery during the 9:15am service to give you uninterrupted time to worship. Ushers can assist you if
needed. The nursery is in the lower level of the church; take the elevator to LL and turn left…you can’t
miss it. A state of the art paging system is in place to notify you quietly during the service, if necessary.
IT’S FLA-TOILET-MINGO MONTH – The ugly commode has been making the rounds. If it lands in
your yard (because you didn't purchase the insurance from the youth), call Will at 254-3344 for removal.
Keep watching for the commode to show up in your yard during the month of November!

THE INTERSECTION OF CHURCH & STATE SHOWN TODAY/TOMORROW – Religious
freedom in America has been an issue of paramount importance since the founding of this great nation.
As the nation has grown and changed, so has the relationship of the federal government with the many
religions that comprise the community of faith throughout the land. With the election at hand, American
Christians ponder this relationship and prayerfully act upon it. This video based discussion examines this
vital relationship to see what’s working well and how we can improve the rough spots at the intersection
of church and state. This event is offered twice: Sunday, October 28 at 10:30 a.m. and Monday,
October 29 at 6:30 p.m. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall (church basement).
IT’S HERE! – Beginning November 1st, we will serve Holy Communion at every service as requested in
our last voters’ meeting. Thank you to everyone who prayerfully considered our requests for help. Thank
you to both new members and experienced members who are working hard to help teach new Altar Guild
members how to prepare the Lord's Supper; we are truly Blessed. Through Holy Communion God gives
us the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation through the body and blood of Jesus.
“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was
betrayed, took bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for
you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is
the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you
eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 1 Cor. 11:23-26
IT’S TIME FOR THE FALL CLEANUP AT OSLC – Men and women…boys and girls! Helping
hands are needed to clean up the grounds of Our Saviour before the air turns cold and the snow begins to
fall. Many hands make light work so please consider giving even an hour of time between 9am and noon
on Saturday, November 3rd (that’s next weekend!). If you have them available, please bring rakes, gloves,
and ‘clean up tools’. If you have questions, please call Greg Parks at 621-0809.
DO YOU USE YOUR OFFERING ENVELOPES? – We are now getting ready to prepare offering
envelopes for our members for 2013. If you currently receive, but no longer need or want, offering
envelopes, please contact the office to be removed from the list. If you would like to begin providing
offerings through the SimplyGiving program (automatic deductions from your checking or savings
account), pick up an enrollment form in the office hallway, complete and return to the office with a copy
of a check from your account. The deadline for either change will be Monday, November 12.
LAMBEAU FIELD WORKERS NEEDED – On November 4, the Packers take on the Arizona
Cardinals at Lambeau Field. Our Saviour needs 21 volunteers (18 or older) to work at that game (and
every home game this season). Please sign up to work next week or at any upcoming home game. Contact
Neil Burmeister at 866-9088 or call the church office (468-4065) for more info. Sign-up sheets are at the
Welcome Center. Make plans now to work at the home games on December 2, 9 or 23.
SUNDAY SCRIP – Every purchase is a small donation. Buy Sunday mornings at the Welcome Center or
the church office (from 8am-11:45am and 1pm-4:15pm Monday thru Friday). Groceries? Gas? Going out
to eat? Gift giving? Taking a trip? Give to church without changing your budget. To learn more, stop by
the Welcome Center today or come to the office during regular business hours. If you have a child at
Green Bay Trinity, OSL Preschool or in the youth group, ask about our ‘tuition reimbursement’ program.
CAN YOU ADOPT-A-BILL? – If you can, please ‘Adopt a Bill’. Select an invoice and envelope from
the board, make your check payable to OSLC, put it and the invoice in the envelope and place in the
offering plate or drop off at the office. So far, you have donated an additional $5,109.73 this year (this
amount is NOT included in the Unified Budget information provided in the bulletin every week).
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? – Join our ‘Basic Beliefs for Adult Lutheran Christians’ classes on
Sunday mornings (aka ‘Adult Confirmation Class’). Members and non-members are welcome to attend
any and all classes. Join us in the parlor today at 9:15am and next week at 8:00am.
TAKE ONE HOME – The current Portals of Prayer is available in the Narthex. The September Council
minutes and October ‘Voice Online’ are at the Welcome Center. You can also find many flyers of
information on current events for NEWLHS, Green Bay Trinity and Our Saviour.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEALS –Serving from 5-7pm. $3 entrees – Fresh Hamburger/Cheeseburger;
Pasta w/Marinara Sauce and Breadstick (add Italian Sausage for $1); or Chicken Tenders; Made from
scratch Soup - Cup $1.50/Bowl $2.50; $1 Sides – Chef Salad, Fries or Cottage Cheese; $2 Desserts –
Dessert Shooter or pie. Meals will be offered every Wednesday (watch bulletin for exceptions); the menu
may vary. Proceeds from the meal will help support the mission and ministry of OSLC; it’s a great
addition to our Youth Nights, Confirmation, and other Wednesday evening activities. Feel free to come
just to eat…even if you do not have another event to attend this week! 
VOTERS’ MEETING – After an abbreviated 9:15 service, this year’s meeting will begin at 10am on
Sunday, December 9. The third service will begin the latter of 10:45am or five (5) minutes after the
conclusion of the voter’s meeting. Please add this important event to your calendar.
CONFIRMATION CHANGE – 9th grade confirmation students: The Confirmation Rehearsal will be
after the Confirmation Examination on Thursday, November 8, replacing the 11/10 original date.
ENJOY THESE YOUTH FUNDRAISERS – Let the youth help you stuff your stockings and
your refrigerators! We will sell pumpkin rolls on November 11 and 18 for $8 (normally $14). If you
missed it at the Fall Rally, we have necklaces, key chains and bracelets available for purchase. Even
more…we will have meat, cheese and chocolate brochures to place an order from Nov 7-Dec 5 with
delivery on Dec. 12, just in time for your holiday parties and events! Find a youth and help them attend
the 2013 National Youth Gathering with your purchase.
SODA POP PLEASE – We have a need for the following flavors of soda for upcoming events: Coke
Products - Coca-Cola, Sprite, & Diet Sprite / Pepsi Products: Pepsi, Diet Mountain Dew & Sierra Mist. If
you find a deal, won’t you please consider a donation? Thank you.

to reduce and remove the mortgage and also leave a remembrance on a brick in Camp's beautiful
courtyard. Your gift of $500 or more makes a difference!! Go to www.campluther.com to learn more.

Please fill out the Fellowship Pad in the pew rack with the date, your name(s), address, etc. (use extra lines if needed). We invite you to come back soon. Visiting children are welcome to attend Sunday School during the 9:15am service; registration forms are in the office hallway. Please talk to an usher for more information. THE NURSERY IS FOR YOUR TODDLER – Children (toddling thru 3 years old) are welcome to the Nursery during the 9:15am service to give you uninterrupted time to worship. Ushers can assist you if needed. The nursery is in the lower level of the church; take the elevator to LL and turn left…you can’t miss it. A state of the art paging system is in place to notify you quietly during the service, if necessary. IT’S FLA-TOILET-MINGO MONTH – The ugly commode has been making the rounds. If it lands in your yard (because you didn't purchase the insurance from the youth), call Will at 254-3344 for removal. Keep watching for the commode to show up in your yard during the month of November! THE INTERSECTION OF CHURCH & STATE SHOWN TODAY/TOMORROW – Religious freedom in America has been an issue of paramount importance since the founding of this great nation. As the nation has grown and changed, so has the relationship of the federal government with the many religions that comprise the community of faith throughout the land. With the election at hand, American Christians ponder this relationship and prayerfully act upon it. This video based discussion examines this vital relationship to see what’s working well and how we can improve the rough spots at the intersection of church and state. This event is offered twice: Sunday, October 28 at 10:30 a.m. and Monday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall (church basement). IT’S HERE! – Beginning November 1st, we will serve Holy Communion at every service as requested in our last voters’ meeting. Thank you to everyone who prayerfully considered our requests for help. Thank you to both new members and experienced members who are working hard to help teach new Altar Guild members how to prepare the Lord's Supper; we are truly Blessed. Through Holy Communion God gives us the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation through the body and blood of Jesus. “For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 1 Cor. 11:23-26 IT’S TIME FOR THE FALL CLEANUP AT OSLC – Men and women…boys and girls! Helping hands are needed to clean up the grounds of Our Saviour before the air turns cold and the snow begins to fall. Many hands make light work so please consider giving even an hour of time between 9am and noon on Saturday, November 3rd (that’s next weekend!). If you have them available, please bring rakes, gloves, and ‘clean up tools’. If you have questions, please call Greg Parks at 621-0809.
  • 2. DO YOU USE YOUR OFFERING ENVELOPES? – We are now getting ready to prepare offering envelopes for our members for 2013. If you currently receive, but no longer need or want, offering envelopes, please contact the office to be removed from the list. If you would like to begin providing offerings through the SimplyGiving program (automatic deductions from your checking or savings account), pick up an enrollment form in the office hallway, complete and return to the office with a copy of a check from your account. The deadline for either change will be Monday, November 12. LAMBEAU FIELD WORKERS NEEDED – On November 4, the Packers take on the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field. Our Saviour needs 21 volunteers (18 or older) to work at that game (and every home game this season). Please sign up to work next week or at any upcoming home game. Contact Neil Burmeister at 866-9088 or call the church office (468-4065) for more info. Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center. Make plans now to work at the home games on December 2, 9 or 23. SUNDAY SCRIP – Every purchase is a small donation. Buy Sunday mornings at the Welcome Center or the church office (from 8am-11:45am and 1pm-4:15pm Monday thru Friday). Groceries? Gas? Going out to eat? Gift giving? Taking a trip? Give to church without changing your budget. To learn more, stop by the Welcome Center today or come to the office during regular business hours. If you have a child at Green Bay Trinity, OSL Preschool or in the youth group, ask about our ‘tuition reimbursement’ program. CAN YOU ADOPT-A-BILL? – If you can, please ‘Adopt a Bill’. Select an invoice and envelope from the board, make your check payable to OSLC, put it and the invoice in the envelope and place in the offering plate or drop off at the office. So far, you have donated an additional $5,109.73 this year (this amount is NOT included in the Unified Budget information provided in the bulletin every week). WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? – Join our ‘Basic Beliefs for Adult Lutheran Christians’ classes on Sunday mornings (aka ‘Adult Confirmation Class’). Members and non-members are welcome to attend any and all classes. Join us in the parlor today at 9:15am and next week at 8:00am. TAKE ONE HOME – The current Portals of Prayer is available in the Narthex. The September Council minutes and October ‘Voice Online’ are at the Welcome Center. You can also find many flyers of information on current events for NEWLHS, Green Bay Trinity and Our Saviour. WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEALS –Serving from 5-7pm. $3 entrees – Fresh Hamburger/Cheeseburger; Pasta w/Marinara Sauce and Breadstick (add Italian Sausage for $1); or Chicken Tenders; Made from scratch Soup - Cup $1.50/Bowl $2.50; $1 Sides – Chef Salad, Fries or Cottage Cheese; $2 Desserts – Dessert Shooter or pie. Proceeds from the meal will help support the mission and ministry of OSLC; it’s a great addition to our Youth Nights, Confirmation, and other Wednesday evening activities. Feel free to come just to eat…even if you do not have another event to attend this week!  VOTERS’ MEETING – After an abbreviated 9:15 service, this year’s meeting will begin at 10am on Sunday, December 9. The third service will begin the latter of 10:45am or five (5) minutes after the conclusion of the voter’s meeting. Please add this important event to your calendar. CONFIRMATION CHANGE – 9th grade confirmation students: The Confirmation Rehearsal will be after the Confirmation Examination on Thursday, November 8, replacing the 11/10 original date. ENJOY THESE YOUTH FUNDRAISERS – Let the youth help you stuff your stockings and your refrigerators! We will sell pumpkin rolls on November 11 and 18 for $8 (normally $14). If you missed it at the Fall Rally, we have necklaces, key chains and bracelets available for purchase. Even more…we will have meat, cheese and chocolate brochures to place an order from Nov 7-Dec 5 with delivery on Dec. 12, just in time for your holiday parties and events! Find a youth and help them attend the 2013 National Youth Gathering with your purchase. SODA POP PLEASE – We have a need for the following flavors of soda for upcoming events: Coke Products - Coca-Cola, Sprite, & Diet Sprite / Pepsi Products: Pepsi, Diet Mountain Dew & Sierra Mist. If you find a deal, won’t you please consider a donation? Thank you. BRICKS – Leave your mark as part of the legacy that is the ministry of Camp Luther.
