57.0% of surveyed people have monthly saving habit
A majority of Most of these Vietnamese singles often put away 10% to 20% of their personal monthly income. In which, more than 50%
said that their average saving amount per month is Under 1.000.000 VND.
“Prepare for emergency cases” is mostly choosen for saving reason, account for 57.7%. “Shopping freely when I desire” and
“Saving as habit” follow next with 44.4% and 38.8% respectively.
Top 3 effective methods for saving money are 1. Not buy unnecessary things (76.6%), 2. Reduce frequency of drinking & eating
outside (57.7%) and 3. Buy sale-off products (51.3%).
63.8% opened a Bank account to control their savings
In addition to keep deposits in Banks, people also choose Lucrative Investment for savings control, account for 35.4%. And the most
popular profitable investment way of Vietnamese singles is Create SavingsBook at Banks (72.7%).
In general, respondents have knowledge on different investment channels. While Stock market is considered as potentially lucrative
investment channel (56.3%), SavingsBook and others are perceived as channels that generate average profitability (over 40%).
In assessment the risk of investment, 74.4% evaluate that Create SavingsBook at banks has low risk. Whereas Gold Market, Stock
Market and Real Estate are top three risky investment channel, with 44.2%, 76.1% and 60.5% in turn.
Vietnamese singles also have various information sources for different investment channels. However, people mostly refer their Own
Knowledge, Information from internet and Advice from financial experts.

There are 57.7% surveyed people said that they often put away money as Prepare for emergency cases. The second reason is that they
would like to go Shopping freely when they desire, account for 44.4%. 38.8% also revealed that saving has become one of their habits.

mostly refer their Own Knowledge for Create SavingsBook at Banks (58.9%), Information from internet for Gold Market (54.0%)
