How to download WMA audiobooks through Overdrive onto an Apple device. Process is similar for iPod, iPhone and iPad.

1. Downloading
WMA eAudio
to an iPod or
iPhone

2. 1) Connect iPod to your computer and open iTunes. Select
device from left navigation. Check “Manually manage
music and video”.

3. 2) Return to Overdrive Media Console. Highlight
audiobook and select “Transfer”. (Tip: to get to this step see
tutorial “How to Download an audiobook onto a Portable device”)

4. 3) Select “Next”.

5. 4) Check which parts you want to download and select
“Next”.

6. 5) Unless you have limited space on device, select “Next”.
(Tip: if you want to change quality of audio, follow instructions on
screen and select “refresh”)

7. 6) Once download completed, go to iTunes. Click dropdown
arrow next to name of device. Select Bossypants playlist.
Notice Part 2 & 3 are missing, meaning they won’t be on
iPod.

8. 7) Select “Books”. Notice all 5 parts of Bossypants. (Tip: Also
notice 2 grayed out parts of Fall of Giants. If parts you need are
grayed out, return to Overdrive and retransfer those two parts)

9. 8) Move the two missing parts of Bossypants to Bossypants
playlist.

10. 9) Now all 5 parts are in the Bossypants playlist, but out
of order.

11. 10)Click the header “Name” to order by name.

12. 11)To copy order to your iPod, right click on the playlist
title, and select “Copy to Play Order”.

13. 12)To find audiobook on your iPod/iPhone, select
“Music”.

14. 13)The audiobook will be in “Playlists”. Select your
audiobook.

15. 14)Enjoy!!
