2) Click My NCBI, top upper right side of
page

account”

Saving your search results in PubMed:
1) Near the top of page, under the search
box, click “Save Search”
2) Sign into My NCBI
3) In the “Name the Search” box, keep or
change the name of your search and click
“SAVE” 6

• Retrieve saved search from the homepage
of your My NCBI
1) Sign into your My NCBI account

• After you have clicked on “SAVE” your search,
the next page is:
“Saved Search Settings”
• This is where you create email updates

Choose how you want to get email updates:
1) Once a month or week or everyday and pick
which day
2) Pick your format from the pull down
“Report format” box (summary, abstract,
etc.)
3) Select the number of items to be sent from
the “Number of items” pull down box (one,
five….200)

color it is easier to glance the results
• Choose from over 10 colors!

opens
2) Click on “NCBI Site Preferences” (upper
right hand side of page)

3) Under “Common Preferences” see
