The health and medical sector has had great developments in
recent years. Therefore, there are many specialist hospitals,
big pharmacological companies, and new medical inventions
every year. All of these help to cure people of disease quickly.
However, these days, diseases are becoming more
complicated, and creating new medicines is always a
challenge. Moreover, they are spreading new types of cancer
and viruses, such as HIV/AIDS, breast cancer, heart diseases,
ebola etc.
Why do you think these killer diseases have increased?
What about the future, will they increase or decrease?
(A. Munir, Public Health)

Some researchers suggest that people who have to obey
instructions from their bosses produce more cortisol
than those who do not. One experiment with animals
showed that predators have less cortisol in their blood
than others that have to be constantly alert to protect
themselves and their colonies. Do you think that
people who work in lower-level positions are more
likely than others to have certain health issues such as
heart attacks or diabetes?
(Agustina Pirez Itzaina, Psychology)

In chemical engineering, engineers always use a
huge amount of chemicals, and they need to build a
large shelter to keep themselves safe, and at the
same time keep the chemicals safe. How can the
companies build a huge shelter and in a safe
place? (This is a place that just
employers/employees can enter and is not
available for just any person to access.)
(Hassan, Chemical Engineering)

I'm looking to attend any class that talks about space.
As you know, my major doesn't relate to this kind of
class, but I want to learn some information about
what I'm interested in, too. Students take classes in
their majors, but they also sometimes take classes
which are not from their major. What are the
advantages and disadvantages of taking classes
outside your major?
(Safety Engineering, Hussain Alsadiq)
