Q: “Why waste our time with Twitter?
The vast majority of students don’t
use Twitter.”
My Answer: “Well, the vast majority
don’t use email either, should we
ignore that too?”
22. @manfull
• All messages or “tweets” are confined to 140
characters.
• Can have private or open accounts.
• As with Facebook, people use it a lot of different
ways.
• Personally, it’s how I keep up with news in real-time
and it’s been my textbook the last few years.
• Can tweet via computer, smartphone app or text
• You can follow tweets from computer or via text even
if you don’t have a Twitter account.
• Twitter feeds generally have more activity than
Facebook feeds.
