Virtual Queuing
For any organisation that has to manage queues of customers there are times when
your waiting areas may overflow and customers are left feeling upset or
dissatisfied.
Virtual Queuing Systems
Virtual queuing systems use mobile phone technology whereby your customers can
send a text message to request a position in the queue. The queue system then
sends a text message back to confirm that they have been added to the queue and
another text message when it's their turn in the queue. Virtual queuing systems
can also be used with touch screen kiosks whereby users can enter their mobile
phone number into the kiosk to book a seat at an event or get themelves
registered in the queuing process.

Customers request an appointment by texting a message to a specific published
number. The queue system then responds by text in one of a number of ways:
Confirm availability of the appointments
Inform customer of the current status and any alternatives
Allow staff to manually book in or remove customers from the appointment list
Protect against malicious or accidental mis-use
Our Virtual Queuing Software also has additional capabilities too
Allow set up of single day or multi-day queuing
Provide 'multi-step' text conversations with customers (e.g. to collect
important information to enhance service efficiency)
Automatically react to 'opening and closing' times for booking, inclduing pre-
set holiday dates
Allow customers to request time-specific slots (including periods of day – e.g.
morning, evening, etc.)
Allow customers to cancel their appointment via text message
Automatically wait-list unsucessful customers, awaiting further notification
Quickly notify all booked customers of changes circumstances
Speed of Implementation
The queue system is fast to deploy, requires no in-house installation or
additional equipment, meaning a service can be up and running in a matter of
hours.
Virtual Queuing for Restaurants
With a virtual queuing system your customers can simply send a text message to
request a table booking remotely. The virtual queuing system will send them a
text message back to confirm their booking. What's more - by entering your
mobile phone number at a touch screen kiosk at the restaurant you are then free
to go for a drink or other activity knowing that the restaurant will text you
when your table is ready. The virtual queuing system means your staff are free
from answering phones.
Virtual Queuing for Museums
Museums often have special exhibits which are open at set times of the day. Due
to the periodic nature of these attractions queues form outside of the event and
can lead to customer dissatisfaction. By using a virtual queuing system your

exhibits, safe in the knowledge that they will receive an update txt message

What is E-Queuing and Why is it Necessary?

Lets face it, its not much fun waiting in a long queue. It's particularly
horrible to wait in a long queue when you are short of time, during your lunch
hour for example. So wouldn't it be great if you could hold your place in the
queue whilst not actually being there? You could be travelling to the queue
whilst already, at the same time be waiting in the very same queue to be served.
Thus saving you lots of time. Plus when you do get served, you are happy and
relaxed knowing that you haven't had to endure a long and boring wait in a real
queue.

E-queuing system do just this, they add customers to a virtual queue to same
them from having to wait around in conventional queues - this keeps the flow of
the queue running smoothly and provides excellent customer service.

Virtual Queuing Systems Virtual queuing systems use mobile phone technology whereby your customers can send a text message to request a position in the queue. Virtual Queuing for Restaurants With a virtual queuing system your customers can simply send a text message to request a table booking remotely. The virtual queuing system will send them a text message back to confirm their booking. What's more - by entering your mobile phone number at a touch screen kiosk at the restaurant you are then free to go for a drink or other activity knowing that the restaurant will text you when your table is ready. The virtual queuing system means your staff are free from answering phones. Virtual Queuing for Museums Museums often have special exhibits which are open at set times of the day.
