The 10th Anniversary
                                            Special Edition
                                 We’re celebrating our 10th Anniversary
                                 through a comprehensive transformation with
SDN, Cloud and Mobile Backhaul at its heart!

The Carrier Ethernet market has seen rapid growth in recent years, and
it shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

However, the conversation has now changed as the industry is vying to
position itself in the new world of SDN and Cloud Computing. The
Ethernet switch market is also undergoing a technological transformation.
2013 is also the year when we’ll see the first solid results of CE 2.0.
Understanding and embracing the technological transformation is vital for
both service providers and solution vendors.

The Carrier Ethernet World Congress is evolving to embrace this evolution
and is rebranded as Ethernet World 2013. Ethernet World is accompanied by
a thorough revamp of the agenda, a venue move to Prague and co-
location with IIR’s ground-breaking SDN Conference. Building on the
legacy of CEWC, we will now cover the complete Carrier Ethernet ecosystem
and all the pivotal topics the industry is faced with.
The 10th Anniversary Edition
                                         THE INNOVATIONS
                                           IN A NUTSHELL
• Co-location with IIR’s flagship SDN Summit

• Launch a 3 Day format – 2 Days of Main Conference & pre-conference
  seminars & workshops day

• Revamped agenda with greater focus on new trends, SDN, Cloud, MBH
and CE 2.0 – also with Eastern European/CIS operator case studies

• Closer collaboration with MEF and masterclasses Day

• Free Limited Passes for Operators from across Europe and the Globe
(for the first time in the event’s history) for Ethernet World

• Smart-marketing campaign to target not only Tier 1s but also Tier 2
  operators

• Move to Prague: Central, attractive location good for both Western &
Eastern European telcos, cheaper hotel accommodation, flights
The 10th Anniversary Edition
                                               THE AGENDA

The agenda will build on the following core questions

• How does the Ethernet industry need to transform to lead growth in the
  new telecom ecosystem?
• What is the impact of CE 2.0?
• How does Carrier Ethernet tie with the world of Software Defined
  Networking?
• What is the case for developing Ethernet-powered Cloud services?
• How can we optimise Mobile Backhaul with Carrier Ethernet?

The agenda will feature a dedicated stream on Cloud & Ethernet on the first
day, and one on Mobile Backhaul on the second. SDN & Ethernet will be
covered in the Ethernet World plenaries. Ethernet World Delegates will also
have preferential rates for attending/sponsoring the co-located SDN Summit.
