The big global trend this month is the continued growth in popularity of the 640 and 640XL. The 520 continues to be the most popular device in use worldwide but that popularity continues to decline.
We look in detail at the US, Mexico, Brazil, Germany and Italy. Plus we have our first look at Turkey.
This report also marks our third anniversary for detailed monthly statistics on Windows Phone usage. Back in November 2012 the first Windows Phone 8.0 devices had just gone on sale (5% market share) and the most popular device in use worldwide was the Lumia 710 with a 24% share. Things have changed a lot since then.

AdDuplex SDK v.2 (and higher). The raw data analyzed was collected over the day of
November 23rd, 2015 (UTC time) unless otherwise stated.
We have made every attempt to consolidate different reported phone model names
under their canonical retail model names, but it is possible that some of the rare model
name variations were not accounted for.

10. Windows Phone Devices – Brazil
November 23rd, AdDuplex
It was back in June that we
last looked at figures from
Brazil and it seems lots of
people have been changing
their handsets in that time.
In addition to the new entries
from the 640 and 640XL,
there are big drops for the
520 (down 5.6%), the 630
(down 3.7%) and the 710
(down 1.7%).
There have been similar
gains for other devices too
though as the 535 is up

11. Windows Phone Devices – Germany
November 23rd, AdDuplex
The same devices make up the
top ten as they did in August
but with a small change in
order. The biggest positional
change going to the 640 which
moves from sixth to third place
as the result of a 2.9% share
increase.
The largest other change is the
rather surprising increase for
the 930 which has gained 1.5%
which is the result of an
increase in the total number of
these devices in use, not just a
relative percentage change.
The other big changes are:

535 up 1.2%

13. Windows Phone Devices – Turkey
November 23rd, AdDuplex
We’ve not looked at Turkey in
detail before and so have no
public figures to compare
changes with. However, there
are a couple of interesting
things that stand out from this
chart.
The top ten is dominated by
older devices. Most of which
are over two years old.
Larger screen devices are
also more popular here. The
1320 being the second most
popular device is an outlier
amongst countries but the
625 with it’s larger screen is
also an anomaly.
