In the fall of 2014, the Canadian Council on Africa (Conseil

Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario. The Canada-
Africa Business Summit enables professionals from multiple
industries to connect and learn about opportunities across the
African continent. The conference features face-to-face
networking with representatives from multiple countries as well
as expert lectures and panel discussions.
3. About the Summit
The summit's educational track features leaders from
five economic sectors, while a series of “success stories”
sessions allow for small-group moderated discussion
with those who have successfully invested in Africa.
Similarly, the summit's Doing Business in Africa
forums each feature officials from a particular host
country. Each forum provides information about
opportunities and successfully completed projects in
the host country as well as networking opportunities
with key decision makers.
4. Conclusion
Networking is also available through the Summit's
EXPO, where participants can meet and talk with
business leaders across Canada and Africa. The
Summit also offers a Business to Business Networking
Center, through which business leaders can initiate
conversations with potential partners and affiliates.
Participants can also make contacts through the
Summit's exhibition and trade booths, flash focus
presentations with particular businesses, and a special
welcome reception that officially begins the event.
