For shallow soft soil , HVDM is used to form a over-consolidated shell. For deep soft soil , preloading is used to consolidate the deep soil, and HVDM is then used to form a hard shell at the subsurface. For jobsite requiring high bearing capacity , HVDM is used to increase bearing capacity. Stone columns are installed to form a composite foundation.. On Feb 15 09, Xinwen Lianbo, a CCTV News Program, reported the successful use of HVDM in Hebei Caofeidian Industrial Park.  &quot;Resolved key concerns in land reclamation from sea.“…&quot;30% savings and 50% faster&quot; In January 2008, CCTV Dialogue Program interviewed Inventor Mr Xu Shi-long, appreciating his works converting difficult soils into valuable property.
International Cooperation Minister of MOC of Bangladesh met President Xu Shi-long, intending to introduce the soft soil treatment techniques into Bangladesh.  MOC Sectary and Chief Engineer of RHD highly appraised the HVDM related techniques according to their site visit.
Inventor delivered a special lecture in Vietnam as the invitation of Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. Major media, including Vietnam Central TV, Central People’s Radio Station etc. reported the news.  Vietnam President Nguyen Minh Triet was attending the commencement ceremony of Nhon Trach 2 Project, and delivering an opening address.
In 2009, ASCE invited the Inventor to present a special lecture in a workshop in Orlando. The US was introducing HVDM technique into the US professional specifications.  Sino-US Seminar on HVDM Specification Modification, attended by many senior experts, including Committee Chairman of US TRB, Executive Chairman of FHWA Specifications, Dean of the College of Civil Engineering of Tongji Un.
In 2009, Ukraine would cooperate with South Korea to construct an aerospace industrial complex in Incheon. Lee Myung-bak, South Korea President, attended the signing ceremony.  The Chief of the complex and the Mayor of Incheon met with the President Xu, discussing the sea reclamation of the jobsite .
In 2007, HVDM series were successfully applied to power plant project in Indonesia. The picture indicates the meeting of Mr.Lan (3rd right), Ambassador of PRC in Indonesia, Mr.Wang (2nd left), President of China-Indonesia Commercial Association, and Inventor (3rd left)  In 2004, Lee Kuan Yew (the former President and current Minister Mentor of Singapore) was inspecting HVDM treatment sites at Phase II and III of Xinghua Port.
In 2006, a Korean delegate leaded by Vice President of Korea Academy of Engineering visited Shanghai, and agreed to introduce the inventions to Korea.  In 2008, Finland’s Environmental Minister appreciated the green use of HVDM and met the Inventor.
2010, High officials of Ministry of Development of Brunei met chairman of Shanghai Geoharbour Group.
2010, A mbassador  of Oman in China visited us and hope HVDM series into Middle East. (R2) 2010, Chairman of the State Council of Oman met Chairman of Shanghai Geoharbour Group
2009, Prof. Chu  addressed “HVDM” lecture in 17 th   International Conference on Soil  Mechanics & Geotechnical Engineering in Egypt. 2009, Egypt Minister of Housing, Utilities & Urban Development  (middle of the picture)  met senior representative of Shanghai Geoharbour Group.
