Business Description
 Ideas & Wisdom book store is a new retail business
venture due to begin at M S Ramaiah Campus by the end
of June 2014.
 Books & Magazine store intended to serve the college
students & nearby community & surrounding area.

 It will offer a variety of Books & Magazines that appeal to
the residents of Bel road, Matikhere & obviously college
students
 A competitive variety of services including a buyback
trade program
Mission statement
Ideas & Wisdom mission is to provide used quality
literature of all types at the lowest possible prices in
addition to it we will also provide :
 New books, latest magazines
 A comfortable atmosphere for its clients &
customer
It will also promote browsing , relaxation & an
enjoyable environment to spend extended time
Objectives
 To attain and maintain a position as the major source of
book & magazines in the local community

 To capture minimum of 20 % of local retail market for
books & magazines in the first year
 Achieve Profitability by the end of 2nd year
 Earn approximately 150000 in sales by the end of
second year
 Pay owners a reasonable salary while running at a
profit
The Team

order to become the low cost leader in used books
market
In order to continually attract customers, we must be
able to keep the maximum amount of inventory
available & achieve a high level of customer service
We must provide a good environment for relaxing
reading & exploring ideas for customers
