Horse Assisted Education

Observation:
Work in atmoshpere of silence
No comments in the bigger group
Very litte space for experimenting,
at least at the beginning
Silent people
Possible learning processes:
Facilitator:
Is there any process? Things are
going good way?
Participants:
Development experience opens
new shifts in psyche, words are
not avaiable for them
Experiencing something very
personal
Normal state for introvertic people
Observation:
Fear to admit that you can learn
from horses
Abracadabra with horses?
Resistance to
learn from horses
Possible learning processes:
Facilitator:
Good lesson for „ego” - > not
everbody feels this as brilliant

Experiencing Cosmos trip

Easy finding of comments
and reflection
Entusiastic approach to

  1. It is not easy to separate this two processes. 6 cases with types of people behabiours during HAE Programs
  2. Story Mike, 45 years old, motorway building company It is nothing for me. I have nothing to say about it. He took part in all exercises. No comments. Castle with thick and strong walls. In the final sentence he admit: I have nothing to say about this horse exercises. I am the most interested in this walls here. They are so thick and strong. And even they get broken as I see….
  3. It is moment when learning is „flow”, everybody learns from everybody.
  4. They have saw somethink what they did not expected.
  5. 90% of this people are horsepeople, riders etc.
  6. They very clear ask for intructions „ What does it mean set the personal or professional goal?”
  7. Lady felt a lot of fear during the first exercise. At the same time she was attract to horse Jacek. She refused to participate in leading and being led exercise. With help of her collegue she touch Jacek only. She decided to go to the picadero exercise. She walked around Jacek refusing to lead him at the rope. Jacek gave her rope (twice!). Her story was. Jacek activated in her her love to her grandfather. Grandfather loved horses very much… Grandfather died when she was a child. She remembered him seeting in the room and reading. As a child she was a litte scared and at the same time attract to him. As an adult she missed that contact and was dreaming to be closer with her grandfather….. After picadero she was speechless and the whole group as well……
