PDHPE teaches essential
life skills about living in a
safe and secure
environment. Such skills
include safety
precautions when
crossing roads.
5. Benefits of PDHPE
Physical: Motor skills, growth and
development, nutrition.
Social: Teamwork, interpersonal skills,
communication, peer relationships.
Mental: Self-esteem, values/attitudes,
personal identity.
Overall, PDHPE is about shaping the lives of
Australian children and their futures, but
most of all PDHPE is about having FUN!
