To translate the functional requirement of the current tree report system into detailed user requirements, data required, technologies employed and implementations involved of the proposed information system. To present the mobile phone apps application with the web based GIS information system design.
51. 6. Discussion Visualization of the Tree Observation Conditions GPS Coordinates Accuracy Boundary Detection Barcode system Web Portal with Point Data Selection
The project system begins with a Mobile Phone Apps. The Mobile Apps developed in Android Development platform in Eclipse Software for mobile users to send the Tree photos(images), GPS coordinates(x,y) and tree observation remarks(text attributes) to a web server. The web server would receive the Tree Coordinates of the users with the photos taken and the tree assessment details and store them inside the Database in the server side. After the data storage, the web server interface as a GIS Portal would present the Tree information on the GIS Web map according to the GPS Coordinates. The System overview is illustrated in Figure1. System Overview.
