Indian Institute of Technology (liT) Kharagpur, where the most intellectual brains of the
country converge and are further nurtured in world class technologists, is a place where new
ideas take birth frequently and are brought into practise to impact the society in a positive
way and in the process we always intend to learn from the experience and get an exposure of
the professional market. It is only natural when two groups of such magnitude come togeth-
er, that great things are bound to happen.
AIESEC liT Kharagpur was started in September 2008, and due to innovations and hard work
showed by our team we have developed into an independent Local Chapter under the guid-
ance of the National Committee of AIESEC India. Since its inception we have been very active
in the AIESEC community. Along with exchanges, AIESEC liT Kharagpur has initiated several
developmental ventures like:
* GENESIS - an AIDS awareness drive conducted by foreign interns in and around the institute.
* ENERGY AUDIT-the first ever auditing of the institute, a result of the concerted efforts of a team
of foreign interns and students of liT Kharagpur
t(www.issuu.com/aieseciitkgp/docs/aiesec_iiCkgp_energy_audiC2010_report)
* VISION GREEN- a campaign that not only had an environmental impact on the society but also
proved to be a perfect platform for the students, professors and delegates from the corporate
and social sectors to interact and share ideas.Apart from this we have developed a great trainee
base and we supply our highly skilled AIESEC trainees from worldwide to NGOs as well as corpo-
rate sector, thus providing a great experience to both the sides.

* BALAKALAKAAR - an innovative platform for the underprivileged students to express them-
selves through art and felicitation of the winners with scholarships for education, in Jamshedpur.
* AAROHAN - a three month long social project, in which people from different countries come to
India, and work in different NGOs, on various social issues to create a positive impact on society.

As tomorrow's leaders, today's students need resources and support to deal with a constantly
changing world. They face significant issues, and are presented with no simple solutions. Issues of
business leadership and sustainability are transforming the fundamentals of world economy and
fast becoming the responsibility of today's young professionals. The future of sustainability pres-
ents an opportunity for partnership between the leaders of today and the leaders of tomorrow.
Youth to Business Forum is a unique platform which connects the youth and the business world.
The main idea behind the event is to share perspectives and propose possible actions around
topics of global relevance. The event is a chance for the companies to present themselves and as-
sociate their brand with social responsibility among talented students. It's a brilliant opportunity
for companies to attract top talent and promote themselves with both students as well as other
companies. It's a chance to network with the finest and conscious minded youth in the country.
The Youth to Business Forum will include panels and workshops attended by youth leaders of liT
Kharagpur, business leaders and experts. The objective of the day is to bridge the gap between
Youth and Business by coming together to discuss Global Trends that affect our society, education
system and the way we do business. Over 500 youth delegates from different engineering
streams, management and law backgrounds will join 50 business leaders from more than 15 orga-
nizations, experts and media in India this October 2011 for AIESEC liT Kharagpur's IIYouth to Busi-
ness Forum:'

8. OPEN SPACES
Open Space is an approach of hosting meetings focused on a specific and important purpose or task—
but beginning without any formal agenda, beyond the overall purpose or theme. In this type of meet, people
form small groups by their own discretion depending on the topics that interest them and discuss and give
innovative suggestions to the given topic of concern in specific formats as given by the Organizers. Also if at
any point a participant finds himself in any situation where you are neither learning nor contributing he can go
and contribute to any other group that are running parallel.

Ideal Initial Conditions:
High Level of Complexity
