Flues & Chimneys Our range of flue, chimney and exhaust systems range from 100mm to 1200mm diameter and have been specifically developed to provide an optimum solution for a varying range of commercial and industrial applications. Common systems include multi-functional fire rated or gas condensing exhausts; flues for use with naturally aspirated gas fired appliances fitted with draught diverters; twin wall insulated, multi-fuel chimney systems; twin wall systems for use with solid fuels; single wall flue systems for gas and oil products and gas and oil venting systems. All solutions are designed, tested and manufactured to meet the highest standards and maximum performance is ensured by prior measuring using our iCalc software. Our systems conform to the most up to date legislation requirements and our installation teams are experienced personnel, fully aware of all necessary statutory requirements and modern standards.

Application Airtherm Engineering Limited has recently completed a flue installation,
working closely with the contractor at Raich Leisure Centre, Sunderland.
■ High Efficiency The flue system selected is that used ‘Masterflue’ by Hamworthy Heating.
The flue system installed comprised of a 3m horizontal run and a 7m
vertical, incorporating the necessary drains to allow any unwanted condense
to evacuate the system.
The flue system was installed in December 2012. Our engineers had been
given only ten days to arrange for both a site meeting and to install the
complete flue system, in which to meet our clients program. Not only did we
fulfil our obligation but Airtherm were a massive15% cheaper than the
boiler manufacture’s own preferred company with a ‘like for like basis and
using the exact same Masterflue( MF) product range.
