So my first question when it came to an event was “What is a Charrette”
Next came, What am I going to do?
Will the future be good? Utopia
Or will it be “God Help Us All”
Children all over the world use social media. It connects people and ideas with conversations. Students use it in class room. There is a potential to expand learning environments using social media while also teaching appropriate behaviors.
We want to avoid what happened here.
The consensus of all the groups was that we don’t know exactly where it is going, especially since group one threw us all under the bus by telling the audience that if we did know, we were full of crap. We had some wild ideas, including a completely immersive reality experience to a plan for a business that would help integrate social media into a K-12 environment. But we all agreed that there had to be some guiding principles.
Spiderman said it all: With great power, comes great responsibility.
We’ve spent the day discussing how social media can be used to market our businesses and products, but social media is also changing the way we interact…. It’s opening the door for new possibilities – even new businesses!

Location location location! The next wave of social media (if it isn’t here already) is location-based technology. The idea is to take the Buzz from online to offline. Offer rewards and perks for your customers who use these networks – they’ll do the marketing for you! And you’ll increase customer loyalty.
