Arrive into Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion Airport, where you will be greeted and
transferred to your Galilee hotel.
• Day 2 Lakeside Ministry, Nazareth, Cana and Mount Tabor
Drive around the Sea of Galilee visiting the sites of Jesus’ ministry: the Mount of
Beatitudes where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount, Tabgha where the miracle
of the feeding of the five thousand took place, and Capernaum which was the center
of Jesus’ Galilean ministry.
Continue to Nazareth, visit the Basilica of the Annunciation.

Drive to the village of Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into
wine at a wedding feast.
Visit Mount Tabor, traditional scene of the Transfiguration. Return to your hotel for dinner

• Day 3 The Mediterranean Coast
Drive to the Mediterranean coast to the ancient walled city of Acre, an important Roman and
Crusader port and the headquarters of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem.
See the underground fortress.
Continue southwards via Mount Carmel to Caesarea, with its impressive remains of a Roman
theatre and aqueduct.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, leave your hotel heading down the Jordan Valley to Beth Shan, site

Continue to Jerusalem, drive to the top of the Mount of Olives for a first view over
the Golden City.
Arrive at your Jerusalem hotel for dinner and a 5-night stay.

• Day 5 Tour of old Jerusalem
Begin your tour on mount Zion to see the
cenacle or Upper Room where traditionally
Jesus and his disciples shared the Last Supper,
and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu where
Jesus was brought to trial before the High
Priest. Enter the old City of Jerusalem through
the Jewish Quarter past the Roman Cardo.
See the famous Western “Wailing” Wall sacred
to the Jews, and the golden Dome of the Rock
on the Temple Mount.
Then follow the Stations of the Cross along the
Via Dolorosa which marks Jesus traditional rout
to Calvary where He was crucified, over which
the Church of the Holy Sepulchre now stands.
Visit the tranquil Garden Tomb.

Drive south to Qumran where the

Drive to the shores of the Dead
Sea, at the lowest point on earth,
to float in the salty buoyant water.
Return for dinner and overnight at

Today is free for shopping, relaxing or exploring on your own (optional tours
to Beer Sheba and the Negev and to Tel Aviv Jaffa are available).
Dinner and overnight at your Jerusalem hotel.
• Day 8 Mount of Olives and Bethlehem, The New City
Walk down the Mount of Olives from the chapel of the Ascension to see the
Pater Noster church where the Lord’s Prayer is displayed in many different
languages, and Dominus Flevit with its tear-drop shaped dome.
Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane at
the foot of the hill, to visit the Church of the
Agony and see the ancient olive trees.

Drive to Bethlehem (if possible) where the Church of the Nativity is built over the
traditional site of Jesus’ birth.
In the afternoon, drive through the New City of Jerusalem, viewing the Knesset and

and overnight in Jerusalem.
