2. QUESTION OF INVESTIGATION
Since strategies of rehabilitation generate for the young persons in situation of
drug addiction in the institution?
3. INTRODUCTION
Unfortunately We Live in a culture of the drug, from the morning when we take
caffeine or teofilina, to the breakfast, until the night, in which we can relax on
having returned to the house, with an alcoholic appetizer, or an instigador of the
dream with a sleeping pill prescribed by the doctor, we are using different
substances, which they affect on the Nervous Central System, to face these
incidents of the ordinariness. Many in addition we activate ourselves as trascurre
the day, inhaling nicotine. Even if the drugs have been present in all the cultures
and in all the epochs, today they are more the persons who consume drugs, there
is more quantity and there are more facilities to obtain them. When a survey is
realized and wonders for the major problems of the current company always there
works out named inside the first 5 places the " problem of drugs ". And when one
consults the people because of this problem always it is named as a problems of
poor persons and marginal. And a lot of for time I stop being a street problem and
of marginal, and this happened when the drugs were the best business for some
and the worst misfortune for others. The consumption of substances is
increasingly permissive, this makes believe to the persons " that does not happen
anything if it is consumed ". The drug addiction and everything associated to done
is a great loss of silver for those who are in against, especially for the conditions
who must attack them from many points simultaneously. For the accomplishment
of the present work we base on a methodology of bibliographical investigation,
and some interviews that served us to realize cuan big it is this problem. The work
I us turn out to be very much an extensive mas of what we were thinking about a
beginning, but gives us all that we were guiding by the Theoretical Frame that we
appear or, it was already almost derisory to reduce it
4. More, since if we had done it, this work had ended as a student's work of college
and not of 5 university students. The investigation before the final work, I us turn
out to be very important since we go out of many doubts, and we learned many
new things, in addition we treated of that every part of work was supported and
endorsed by bibliographical already written material. The principal parts of the
work are: The basic definitions The drug addiction according to different areas of
the company. The different types of drugs. Effects and motives of a person for
managing to be a drug addict Consecuencias of the drug addiction Who is
prevention does Role of the Social Worker in the drug addiction and Different
annexes with information changed inside the topic
5. JUSTIFICATION
We chose this problem for which it seemed to us interesting and little treated in
our company. We were interested in knowing as the drug addiction it was
concerning in the physical and psychological development of the individual
Queries to know that so serious it is this problem in our city and to go directly with
the young persons who have fallen down in the drug addiction, to know his
feelings, thoughts and uncertainties. Also we chose this problem because the
psychology allows us to relate us to the persons and this way it might treat them
directly and obtain experience in this area
6. OBJECTIVES
After the realized investigations, we conclude that our principal aim is, first that
nothing, to do conscience to the company of which in our city a high index of drug
addiction exists. Instead of judging to this "company" we should contribute efforts
and ideas in order that the persons who treat with these and this problem could
have a major motivation to create centers of rehabilitation for these individuals, in
order to diminish the index of drug addiction in our locality. For good of the
community and of them themselves.
hypothesis
General Hypothesis:

OTHERS.
SOME YOUNG PEOPLE ARE AT "INCREASED RISK" OF DEVELOPING OTHER DRUG-RELATED
PROBLEMS.
TOPPING THE LIST AS ONE WHOSE FAMILIES HAVE A HISTORY OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE.
ALTHOUGH USE OF SOME DRUGS HAS REMAINED CONSTANT RECENTLY, THE USE OF OTHER IS
INCREASING.
TEENS WHO START SMOKING AT AN EARLY AGE ARE AT SERIOUS RISK. THESE SUBSTANCES ARE
TYPICALLY THE "THRESHOLD DRUG" LEADING TO MARIJUANA AND OTHER ILLICIT DRUGS THERE.

BASIS IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE ITS PSYCHIC EFFECTS AND SOMETIMES TO AVOID THE
DISCOMFORT OF ITS ABSENCE.
WHAT IS DRUG ADDICTION?
DRUG ADDICTION, DRUG ADDICTION, ALSO CALLED SUBSTANCE DEPENDENCE PSYCHOACTIVE IS
IMPERATIVE THAT A PERSON HAS TO CONSUME ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR OTHER DRUGS.
ADDICTION?
WHO IS IN THE HABIT OF BEING DOMINATED BY THE USE OF ONE OR MORE TOXIC DRUGS.
THE ROOM TO THE USE OF DRUGS OR MEDICINES, THE DEPRIVATION OF WHICH CAUSES GREAT

DEPENDS?
THIS CONNOTES THE IDEA THAT YOU CAN NOT DO WITHOUT THE CONSUMPTION, WHICH MAY
REFLECT A TEMPORARY SITUATION THE ADDICT.
PHYSICAL DEPENDENCE?
IT IS A STATE OF BIOLOGICAL ADAPTATION PHYSIOLOGICAL DISORDERS MANIFESTED BY MORE OR
LESS SEVERE WHEN THE DRUG IS ABRUPTLY DISCONTINUED. THIS MEANS THAT WHEN THERE IS
PHYSICAL DEPENDENCE, THE BODY GETS USED TO THE DRUG AND THE NEED TO LIVE.
9. PSYCHOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE?
IS THE COMPULSIVE USE OF A DRUG WITHOUT DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL DEPENDENCE, BUT
ALSO INVOLVES A SERIOUS DANGER TO THE INDIVIDUAL. IE NO PSYCHIC DEPENDENCY OCCURS

12. THAT IS WHAT CAN BE DONE TO ... HELP THOSE WHO HAVE THE
PROBLEM.
IF A FAMILY MEMBER, PARTNER OR A GOOD FRIEND WANTS TO ASSIST AN ADDICT, YOU
CAN FOLLOW A FEW TIPS THAT WILL REALLY HELP ENABLE AVOIDING UNNECESSARY
WEAR.
FIRST: DO NOT TRY TO CONVINCE AN ADDICT TO GIVE UP DRUGS, MUCH LESS WHILE
INTOXICATED (A)
IF YOU CAN DENY ENTRY TO THE HOUSE WHILE INTOXICATED AND HAVING DRUG
PROHIBIT OR CONSUME WITHIN THE HOME.
SECOND: DO NOT TELL LIES. TALK ABOUT BEING AWARE OF THE SITUATION, THE
NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES AND THAT THERE IS SOME SOLUTIONS, THE SAME THAT
YOU ARE ALREADY INFORMED.
THIRD, DO NOT QUALIFY FOR VICIOUS OR WEAK PERSON, OR WEAK-WILLED.
FOURTH: NOT ABOUT PROTECTING
LET HER FACE AND FIX THE NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS.
FIFTH, DO NOT THREATEN TO SOMETHING THAT WILL NOT COMPLY.
SET LIMITS TO ITS DESTRUCTIVE AND HAVE RESPECTED THE HOME.
SIXTH: BE CAREFUL NOT TO DISCUSS ANY IMPORTANT ISSUE WHEN YOU ARE
INTOXICATED.
13. CHARACTERISTICS OF DRUG ADDICTS:
EACH DRUG PRODUCES A SERIES OF SPECIAL EVENTS IN THE PERSON WHO CONSUMES IT.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE SEVERAL GENERAL DATA FOR SUSPICION THAT AN INDIVIDUAL IS DRUG
DEPENDENT.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT TO SUSPECT THAT A PERSON IS A DRUG ADDICT WHAT CONSTITUTES
A CHANGE IN THEIR USUAL BEHAVIOR. WORDS MAY APPEAR UNSTABLE MOODS, RANGING FROM
JOY TO SADNESS, ANGER TO WARMTH, INTEREST TO APATHY AND INCREASED ACTIVITY TO
SLEEPINESS. IN SHORT, THERE IS OFTEN A CHANGE IN PERSONALITY.
AS PEOPLE BEGINS TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM
FIRST REASON: CURIOSITY.
PERHAPS THIS IS THE MOST COMMON REASON THAT IS WANTING TO KNOW WHAT THEY LIKE TO
CONSUME AS THERE ARE SO DISTORTED MISINFORMATION OR DRUGS.
SECOND REASON: THE PRESSURE OF THE "PAIRS" (KNOWN OR NEIGHBORHOOD FRIENDS).
SOMETIMES IT IS IMPORTANT TO FEEL ACCEPTED (A) IN A GROUP OF FRIENDS FROM SCHOOL OR
THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND UNFORTUNATELY SOME OF THESE CLIQUES OR GANGS HAS BECOME
FASHIONABLE TO INGEST ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS OR MEDICATION OF PRESCRIPTION REQUIRING
SPECIAL BUT ARE ACHIEVED IN OTHER WAYS.
THIRD REASON: THE NEED TO IMITATE OTHERS.
WHEN A PERSON WANTS TO GET THEIR OWN PERSONAL STYLE OF BEING AND ACTING, FIRST TRY
TO IMITATE THEIR PEERS WHO ADMIRES OR LIKES HOW THEY BEHAVE AND THEN ACQUIRES
HIMSELF (A) SOME OF THESE STYLE OF BEING, MAKING PART OF HIS PERSONALITY.
FOURTH REASON: RELIEF OF AILMENTS
14. FOR THE EFFECT OBTAINED AS PRESCRIBED BY A PHYSICIAN FOR A LIMITED TIME AND THE
WEARER IN QUESTION DECIDES TO CONTINUE TO USE THEIR OWN RISK. IN MANY CASES THESE
DRUGS OBTAINED ON THE BLACK MARKET OR ALSO USING FAKE RECIPES.
SOCIAL CAUSE
NO ADDICT IS BORN, ALL DONE. NOT HERITAGE, WITH ITS ATAVISTIC INCLINATION THE MAIN
CAUSE, BUT THE ATMOSPHERE THAT SURROUNDS EVERY TEENAGER, OR ADVERTISING,
SOLICITATION, WITH THE DECLINE AND EVEN THE THREAT OF DEATH, TO INDUCE HIM TO DRINK THE
FIRST DRUG.
THERE ARE MANY CAUSES THAT CAN BE IDENTIFIED IN THIS PROBLEM, MANY PURELY SOCIAL
ORIGIN AND DEVELOPED WITHIN SOCIETY ITSELF, AND ATTACKS A PROBLEM ADDICTION AS
INDEPENDENT OF THE OTHERS, BEING THAT AS A REALITY IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SEPARATE.
SOME CAUSES OF THE INCREASE IN DRUG ADDICTION ARE ESCAPISM THROUGH DRUGS AS RELIEF
TO THE STRESSES OF BIG CITIES, ACADEMIC PRESSURES, IN SOCIETY, IN EXCESS OF FREE TIME TO
LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY SOMETIMES CRAZY EXCESS OF PLEASURE EROTIC.
TOO OFTEN UNOCCUPIED OR OBLIGATION WHO SEEK DRUGS OUT OF BOREDOM IN THE PROCESS
OF EXPERIMENTATION AND PLEASURE. THE SAME APPLIES TO THE PEOPLE OF THE CITIES BEFORE
THE MARKED PRESSURE PRODUCES THEM EVERY DAY, YOU NEED DREAMS AND FANTASIES TO
EASE THE DAILY BURDEN AND FINDING NO SUITABLE SATISFACTIONS RESORT TO DECEPTIVE
WORLD OF DRUGS. ANOTHER IMPORTANT CASE IS WHEN NEITHER HAVE THE MORAL SUPPORT OF
HIS PARENTS AND SITUATION AGGRAVATED BY THE POOR EDUCATION RECEIVED BY
IRRESPONSIBLE PARENTS
15. WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF USING
BEFORE ANY OTHER COMMENT APPEARS, YOU MUST MAKE AN IMPORTANT POINT: THE NOTICE OF
LEGAL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS OR THOSE AS INDUSTRIAL SOLVENTS AND INHALANTS NEVER GET
ANYTHING GOOD FOR PEOPLE. EXCEPTION TO THIS ARE THE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND
CONTROLLED BY A PHYSICIAN AUTHORIZED AND EMPOWERED TO SUGGEST TO THE PATIENT THAT
INGEST AND ACCORDING TO A SPECIAL PROGRAM.
ALL DRUGS DIRECTLY AFFECT THE NERVOUS SYSTEM OF PEOPLE WHO USE THEM. THE
DESTRUCTION CAUSED IS USUALLY IRREVERSIBLE BECAUSE THE AFFECTED NERVE CELLS DIE AND
NO LONGER HAS THE CAPACITY TO REGENERATE.
THE PERSON ADDICTED TO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS PRESENT A MARKED DECREASE IN THEIR ABILITY.
TO PRESENT ATTENTION IN SOME SITUATIONS LIKE IN THE CLASSROOM OR AT WORK.
HAVE DIFFICULTY WITH MEMORY
THEIR ABILITY TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT IS BAD OR HARMFUL WILL
BE SERIOUSLY DAMAGED.
HIS LANGUAGE BECOMES INCREASINGLY POOR.
YOUR ABILITY TO THINK DETERIORATES MARKEDLY.
ALSO AFFECTED:
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
THE DIGESTIVE
THE IMMUNE SYSTEM
16. PREVENTION:
Preventing common in terms of public health is to prevent the problem before it
happens and stop progression once the problem started.
It is necessary that doctors assist in prevention efforts at the community level,
working with groups of parents of students.
The substance abuse can affect both men and women, and people of any age or social
class. Many personal problems, social and family that lead young people to use
drugs, the first resource to prevent drug use what you have on hand the family,
especially the parents. The drug should not be a taboo subject in any home. Parents
should seek medical and social information on the consequences suffered by
consuming drugs. It is advisable to take advantage of any source of information, any
newspaper or magazine article, any radio or television broadcast, to comment on this
topic with their children and guide them about the dangers and damage caused by
this type of consumption.
The drug prevention should begin before adolescence, parent-child opening a channel
of communication extended.
The second action of the addiction prevention has teachers who abort this topic with
their students and provide extensive information, using audiovisual material such as
videos, plays, etc..
17. DEFINITION OF DRUG
It is a disease that originates in the brain of a large number of human beings, the
disease is characterized by chronic or long-term, progressive and relapse.?'s Misuse
of any drug for other purposes and not the initials that were prescribed, prescription
exists.? dependence is a psychic, whose individual feels an urgent need to take drugs
or otherwise, an emotional collapse when not ingested and physical dependence
produced by the terrible symptoms abstinence not ingest.? the drug causes physical,
psychological, social and financial.? drug is called the psychic and sometimes
physical state caused by the interaction between a living organism and a drug.
Characterized by behavioral and other responses that always include an irresistible
impulse to take the drug on a continuous or periodic basis in order to experience its
psychic effects and sometimes to avoid the discomfort of its absence.? Dependency
Speaking a drug refers to the compulsive use of this but you have to differentiate
physical and psychological dependence. The first withdrawal has to stop using and in
the second the syndrome does not occur.? Should understand that the addict will
remain an addict while living, ie, that the individual is rehabilitated to live without
consuming drugs and, thereafter, it will be an addict in remission, not using the drug,
but to stay in that state of abstinence or remission can not lower our guard
18. WHAT ARE DRUGS
Are those substances whose consumption can lead to dependence, stimulation or
depression of the central nervous system, or that result in a disruption in the function
of judgment, behavior or mood of the person's Any substance capable of altering the
organism and its psychic action has on the behavior, perception and consciousness.
Drug dependence is excessive consumption of all persistent toxic substance
newspaper.? The term drug seen from a strictly scientific point of view is the active
ingredient, raw material. In this sense formally compares drug in pharmacology and
medicine into a drug, i.e. drugs and drug that can be used as synonyms. Drugs are a
chemical used in the treatment or prevention of diseases. The drugs can be made
from plants, minerals, animals, or by synthesis.? There is a second view that is social,
as this drug are prohibited substances harmful to health, which are abused and in
some bring shape individual and social harm.? Then we have the problem where
these substances act, since all these drugs are a staple in the body is the central
nervous system which is more delicate structure and the most important thing
humans, and whether these substances act on these structures damaging them,
perjudicándolas undoubtedly going be a serious and dangerous element to the
community, to individual health and public health course.
Drugs According to their degree of dependence? The "hard" drugs are those that
cause physical and psychological dependence, i.e. altering the psychological and
social behavior of addicts, as opium and its derivatives, alcohol, amphetamines and
barbiturates.? The "soft" drugs, are those that create a dependency only
psychosocial, among which are derivatives of cannabis, such as hashish or
marijuana, cocaine, lysergic acid, better known as LSD, as well as snuff.
19. division of hard and soft, is questioned, and one could say that the hard and soft are
bad are good or less bad, but same dose administered can have the same harmful
effects.? Dependency is the state whereby the individual constantly creates and
maintains a desire to ingest any substance. If this desire remains metabolic
mechanisms and lack creates a withdrawal syndrome is called physical dependence.
If the unit is maintained by psychosocial mechanisms, often defined as mental or
psychological dependence.? Drugs are divided into narcotics, such as opium and its
derivatives morphine, codeine and heroin, stimulants like coffee, amphetamines,
crack and cocaine, and hallucinogens, such as LSD, mescaline, peyote, psilocybin
mushrooms and cannabis derivatives like hashish.
20. CONCLUSION
We concluded that the choice of drug is in the application of strict laws imposed by
society with thoughts of revenge against those responsible, but the support we give
to those who are ill.
The addiction treatment is the work on the personality of the addict for a long
process. Abstinence consumption is necessary but not sufficient for a good
treatment.
Notwithstanding the drug abuse prevention is convenient to carry it out from the
beginning, at a certain age, working on abuse awareness of other products.
