outdoor winter training
It's cold, It's freezing
My father used to say that a little frost will get our blood moving around our bodies.
This will change your beliefs about yourself, about what you are capable of and how you see
the world around you.
Cold is merely a perception. It is a belief that we were programmed with, winter is cold and

If you want to make any changes in your life then you need to change your attitude. That's
what training in cold weather does.
It changes your attitude towards one element of nature, which changes your attitude towards
yourself, your family and colleagues.
With a changed attitude you gain control over your own life. You are the Captain of
your ship now, you decide how your life will progress.
It's muddy, it's dirty, it's wet
This is the cocktail which breaks the patterns of what women should and should not do, of
which society expects you to be.
This means breaking the rules we grew up with. It's one of the things that excited me when I
train outdoor. And also one of the things everyone is excited about only after their first
session with me.
There are no rules, there are no barriers to whom you can be outdoor. No more masks, no
more faking, it's just you and nature. And nature will not judge you.
2. It's raining or snowing
You can put your mind to do anything. You and I both know that this is how things are.
You can train in the rain and in the snow. Snow is not cold and sun is not hot. You were told
that's how they are. But now you can change that and change your life with it.
You will have the right equipment, the right coaching and motivation and the right attitude.
Your attitude will decide whether you will change your life from being stressed, angry or
depressed to calm, patient and in control of your own life or you will let the world around
dictate how and who you should be.
I'll catch a cold or I've already caught one
This is one of the things I love most when I'm outdoor. Boosting the immune system and non
exposure to viruses, especially now that the flu season has started.
Your outdoor adventures will keep your immune system up and running for days after you
train. I can tell you that from my experience.
I haven't has a sign of cold in 2 years, no supplements or vitamins. Just healthy nutrition and
outdoor training. I was coaching in a gym environment, and my clients were catching colds
and flues but I was so well protected that the viruses would not touch me.
As convenient as gyms are they are also hotbeds of germs ranging from athlete’s foot to
staph, according to the Center for Disease Control, besides the flu virus.
Steer clear of these bugs by taking your routine out in the crisp air.
It's too dark early in the morning and in the evening
This is how our adventure changes from one season to another, from one day to another.
Never boring, always challenging your focus, your will and determination.
Variation in your training will help you cope better with sudden changes in your life. You will
feel more comfortable to make decisions based on rapid changing situations and you will
feel confident and strong.
We will use head torches when it's dark. Usually this is for the first 10-15 min of the session.
I will make sure you are prepared.
3. Why would I want to put myself through all this?
Do you really want to change your life? Then you are looking for a life changing
experience? It's as simple as that.
Our training will challenge you at a physical, mental and emotional level. It will leave no
stone unturned.
It will challenge your beliefs about yourself and the world around. It will push your
boundaries little by little every day. It will help you discover who you really are and what you
are capable of.
I've been training outdoor, coached and by myself, for 8 years. Particularly in the past 2
years I've been waking up at 4:30-5:00 am to go to my weekly training with my coach.
Believe me I know how it feels. Until the world, as you know it, changes before your eyes.
When I have those freezing, wet and difficult training sessions my day is unbelievable. There
are no ups and downs, only ups. There is nothing I cannot do. I am strong, I believe in
myself, I have constant breakthroughs in my personal and professional lives. I am more
balanced emotionally, mentally, physically. I am more complete.
Nowadays this is how I start most of my days, my life has completely changed in just 2
years. And the process is not over.
