2. Overview
This presentation will focus on the possibility
that evolved or non-evolved forms of
primitive, pre-historic man and/or ape may, or
may have lived on the north American, Asian
and European continents thousands of years
past their supposed date of extinction. It will
also address the anatomy and physiology of
both the bigfoot, and its possible pre-historic
relatives.
3. Bigfoot and similar creatures
In many forms, over the course of recorded history man-
lake, and ape like creatures have been seen in isolated,
wild regions by humankind. The American sasquatch
and bigfoot, the Tibetan yeti, The Russian ape-man, the
trolls of Scandinavian legend, and even the story of
Beowulf and grendel, and it’s realistic parallel “eaters
of the dead’, and the “13th warrior”.
All of these creatures share the same basic description, a
large, hair covered, humanoid creature which dwells in
the woods. Some are more ape like, some closer to the
Neanderthal man or other earlier hominids.
4. Gigantopithicus, or relative of theory
• On this slide I will go over the idea of bigfoot
possibly being a remnant of the giant
Asian, ape, I will show the animal’s anatomical
structures, and discuss how the anatomy and
physiology of both creatures is similar.
5. Evolutionary Possibilties
• Ideas exploring the anatomical and
physiological development of an ape like
creature on the north American continent
over the course of time.
6. Primitive man theory
• In this slide I will go over bigfoot’s a and p
similarities to multiple forms of early human,
Including Neanderthal. I will also discuss the
connection between this and the novel eaters
of the dead as well as its film adaptation the
13th warrior.
7. Escaped zoo animal?
• This section will cover any possibility of ape
man being an escaped primate population
from zoo’s and the creatures anatomical and
physiological similarities to chimps and
gorillas.
8. Folkloric Connections
• Anatomy and physiology of bigfoot in
comparison to native American yeti,
Scandinavian trolls, wendols from the film and
book I’m referencing and other creatures of
ancient myths and legends.
9. Proof of existence?
• Pros and cons in the possibility of Bigfoot’s
existence, and possible anatomical evidence
as well as other possible reasons why a body
has yet to be found, or the creature has yet to
be killed.
