Better Bone & ST Imaging then ANYTHING else out there: Over 8000 images!!! Cleveland Clinic UCSF Mass Gen MUSC Florida Hospital Henry Ford Also typical M2 / M3 hospitals
The evolution of imaging science brought us: From a “raw” CR Image we can produce: A ‘film’ look – mostly for skeletal enhancement. This was the original goal of CR – produce a film-like image MUSICA “1” – gave us better bony detail & some soft tissue MUSICA 2 – gives us “everything” / jaw-dropping detail in the bones AND soft tissue high/low contrast, etc
This table lists the tests that can be performed with the new AutoQC2 tools. Some tests are needed for QC of flying spot digitizers (Compact, Solo, CR75, CR25, CR30x) while others are really designed for the new scanhead, DX-S, plate reader. To perform monthly QC you need to make one exposure of the phantom and one of just a plate using the same radiographic technique. The analysis software doses the rest! For initial acceptance testing of the system you perform those first 2 exposures, then run an erased plate to measure “dark noise”, one exposed plate to measure erasure efficiency, and that’s it! For plate analysis, each plate must be exposed and processed, but the analysis does all the measureements automatically.
