2. *What I am doing to relate this to the
audience?
I have informed everyone to dress in
scruffy/smart clothes and too dress older.
*
3. *Why does this help relate to the target
audience?
This will appeal towards the older audience due
to the older/older looking characters. This
would help them relate to some of the
characters and because of theme of lighthearted
humour, they can relate to getting drunk in a
pub. This reinforces the music video
in forefilling the form in entertaining
the audience.

*What I am doing to relate this to the
audience?
Well the song has a ‘boozy’, lighthearted tone
hence prominently filming in a bar. Also, the into
links sounds more sneaky and tense, so filming in
a dark scruffy alleyway would suit this well.

*Why does this help relate to the target
audience?
This would help enhance the different themes of the
track. Pairing the old costumes with the setting in a
bar aids the appeal to middle aged males as it
reinforces the emotions and ensures that the correct
emotions and themes are decoded by the audience.
The dark, gloomy location would suit with the
audience as it adds mystery and tension to the
audience. Plus the stark contrast of the two scenes
reiterates the humorous tone of the track.
6. * What I am doing to relate this to the audience?
I will be manipulating the camera shots to enhance
the ‘star image’ of the artist. Shots such as close
ups, mid shots, and long shots will be combined to
enhance this. (All shots will have movement!)
*
7. * Why does this help relate to the target audience?
Firstly, utilising many different shot distances
and angles helps me gain a better grade.
Secondly, I also need to aim to relate to the
target audience of the track. The variety of shot
types are key in order to get the lighthearted
‘ska vibe’. Hence portraying an interest to the
middle aged males (prominently) and females.

*What I am doing to relate this to the
audience?
I shall enforce that the framing enhances the
artists image, further to bolster my appeal to
reach the audience through the mise en scene.
For example the background cast shall have
little prevalence and appearance in the framing
compared to the artist.

*Why does this help relate to the target
audience?
Framing is crucial in appealing to the correct target audience.
I think showing the mise en scene through the screen is very
important, and I shall have to manipulate the setting and
scene around the artist aswell as the artists lip synching and
actions. From the practice with the camera in the Preliminary
Task and the work in my holidays aids my technique in using
the camera more effectively. By targeting the mise en scene
through a variety of camera shots ensures that the audience
won’t get disinterested and more intrigued of what will
happen, hence entertaining the audience effectively.
