Shoreline erosion at a resort property in Singapore has intensified due to rising sea levels and stronger monsoon seasons from global warming. Aerial photos from 1999 show dead trees and depleted coastal forests along the northern sector of the resort, and by 2006 waves during the northeast monsoon were washing up onto the beach and debris was being carried by tides into the swimming pool area.
