Teambuilding – You will need to engage your own team building consultant or you
can use the following guidelines to do it yourself.
For teambuilding activities, we would like to suggest that you do the following which we have
done with groups that have come to BER before. They loved it and they learned a lot from
the experience.
1. You divide your group into groups of 4 or 5 depending on the size of the group. What
we did was we gave out points for every activity that was done at the resort.
2. The activities included:
 Kayaking around the island – 1 point (Every time they go around the island they
will get 1 point)
 Fishing – if they catch a fish they get 5 points
 Trekking to the waterfalls – if they reach the waterfalls they get 2 points
 If they bath in the waterfalls they get 5 points
 If they swim in the lake they get 3 points
 If they try the ‘buluh sumpit’ they will get 1 point
 If they hit the target with the ‘buluh sumpit’ they will get 5 points
Basically the team with the most points wins! Our people at BER can help to
coordinate with you on this but you will need 2 or 3 people to organize the activities.
We can get a teambuilding team over there but than it will cost you more hence we
suggesting that you do it yourself to minimize your cost.
3. You can also get each group to start preparation from the start of the trip. During the
bus trip get each group to think of a name, their motto, vision & mission, logo and etc.
They will need to present to everybody after dinner on the second night.

4. On the first night you can organize karaoke and also role playing games that will
keep everybody entertained.
5. Basically most of the activities at the island will require your group to work together
and to stick together to get things done.
