Rattan L. Khosa
Mr. Khosa is the President and Owner of AMSYSCO, Inc. He
has extensive experience in the post-tensioning industry, including
general management, manufacturing, financial management,
design engineering, field, shop drawings, and contract management.
Much of his early career was spent working with post-tensioning
system suppliers. He previously was the Division Manager for
Concrete Construction Supply Inc. and held a multitude of sales,
management, and technical positions for INRYCO, Inc. Mr. Khosa
began his career as a Design Engineer and later became Division
Engineer for Atlas Pre-stressing Corp.
Mr. Khosa was the President of the Post-Tensioning Institute in 1999-2000 and served
on the PTI Executive Committee from 1993 to 2002. He is the Chair of the PTI Committee
on Special Topics and has been involved with numerous PTI committees, including:
Specification for Unbonded Tendons, Field Procedures Manual, Iron Workers Certification
Program, Strategic Planning, Plant Certification, Sheathing & Anchorage Durability, the
PTI Marketing Committee, and Revenue Committee.
Mr. Khosa is the Chairman of KHOSA JG Foundation, a charitable non-profit private
foundation funded solely by him. He is a member of the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board at
the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, he served as a member
of the Distinguished Alumni Awards Selection Committee in the Booth School of Business
at the University of Chicago in 2006 and 2009. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees
for the MWC Homeowners Association from 1991 to 1995.
Mr. Khosa is a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin,
and Kentucky. He is also a member of the Structural Engineer Association of Illinois,
American Management Association, and past member of the Inc. Council of Growing
Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Mr. Khosa received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar,
India, and a Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering from the University of Rajasthan
Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He earned a Master’s of structural engineering at the University
of Maryland and Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Chicago,
Chicago, IL.
