17 YEARS OF FIGHT
OVER SUPREMACY!
About us
Founded in the year 1996, ADEPLAST is a dynamic company which is present on the construction materials market in
Romania and on other markets as well, which grows continuously according to customers and partners demands,
offering perfectly adaptable complete solutions.
ADEPLAST is the only company with 100% Romanian funds which is on the top 10 manufacturer list next to multinational companies with high reputation like “Lafarge Cement”, “Holcim”, “Carpatcement Holding”. The spectacular
evolution of the company has determined the extension of her production capacities, at present time there is a
factory in Oradea, one in Ploiesti and another in Roman. Today we have finish another paint&plasters factory in
Ploiesti.

Evolution and perspectives
At the starting point of ADEPLAST, Marcel Barbut owned 96% of company shares, investing 10.000 $ - the equivalent of 31.000.000 Lei at that period. The other four associates contributed with only 8$, meaning 25.000 Lei. However, the profit was split equally. Within one year the associates had the right to re-buy the shares. By the profit they
made, the four share-holders had bought their shares, each one of them having 20%.
In the year 2002 Mr. Marcel Barbut bought from Mr. Aron another 10% from the share-package with 125.000 Euro,
managing to own 30% of the company shares. The same thing is being done by Mr. Flaviu Pop who manages to hold
30% of the shares, also.
In the year 2005 the Stefani family together with Mr. Marcel Barbut bought Mr. Flaviu Pop and Mr. Erdosi shares with
the sum of 5.000.000 Euro and in this way Mr. Barbut manages to hold 60% of the shares and the Stefani family
only 40%.
In 2007 Mr. Marcel Barbut buys for 6.000.000 Euro the shares of Stefani family and manages to own all the shares
of AdePlast.
In the same year Mr. Marcel Barbut gives one share to Mrs. Cristina Paveliuc and transforms AdePlast in a company
based on stocks, his intention being to have it rated on the Stock-Market so that he can obtain the necessary funds
for a new development.
Because of the economical crisis during that time Mr. Marcel Barbut gives up at the Stock-Market ratings and starts
investing, very seriously, in the development of the company throughout credits. Because of the continuous ascension of the company and also her profitability the UNICREDIT TIRIAC Bank has sustained and she still does all the
initial plans for development of AdePlast.
The company has ended he year 2012 with a growth of 30% and a temporary EBITDA of 7.900.000 Euro. The company has reach the economical crisis having an EBITDA value of over eight times, meaning 63.000.000 Euro.
Mr. Marcel Barbut did not give up his plan of listing the company to the Stock-Market. INTERCAPITAL, close related
to ERSTE will share the AdePlast investment group to the Stock-Market for developing a surprise investment.

has large warehouses and a very well based logistic.

Expanded polystyrene factory
This factory has a capacity of producing white polystyrene
for over 700.000 cubic meters.
The production line bought from Zentyss makes 150.000
cubic meters per year of graphite polystyrene being a line
dedicated to this profile.
As a result, the entire capacity of production is of 850.000
cubic meters.

Paints and decorative plasters factory
At the beginning of August - 2013, at Ploiesti, a new factory of paits and decorative plasters has been build with a
value of aprox. 6.000.000 Euro. The factory has a production capacity of 20.000 tones/year and she is fully automatized - the factory is being operated by 5 employes only.

3
Oradea Industrial Platform
Paints and decorative plasters factory
The total production capacity reaches to 20.000 tones/year for washable paints
and decorative plasters. The production is made only by 5 employes because the
factory is completely automatized.

Dry mortars factory
We produce annually about 250.000 tones of dry mortars. 25 - 40% of production is designated to export in countries such as: Hungary, Slovakia, Germany and
Austria. The purpose of ADEPLAST is to export as a unit the components of an integrated system (adhesives, polystyrene, fillers foundation and decorative plasters).

Expanded polystyrene factory
The polystyrene factory will have a capacity identical to the one in Ploiesti of over
700.000 m³ and is the only one in Europe who can produce white and graphite
polystyrene at the same time. The total capacity predicted for the polystyrene production, of both types, for Oradea, Roman and Ploiesti locations will be of over
2.250.000 m³/year.

Roman Industrial Platform
Dry mortars factory
The investment was started in the year 2010, but postponed due to the lack of a
financially support and bureaucratic impediments from the government and local
authorities. Started all over again by own efforts in the year 2012 and against all
difficulties, the new adhesives and dry mortars factory rises in a sustained way. At
the beginning of the year 2013 the factory is up and ready and manages to produce
over 450.000 tones/year of adhesives and dry mortars - European quality.

Expanded polystyrene factory
The factory will have a capacity identical to the one in Ploiesti of 700.000m³ being the only one in Europe who can produce both brands - white and graphite
polystyrene.

Silicon Based Paints and Decorative Plasters

Silicone decorative plaster is a decorative structured plaster in relief, ready to
be use, based on silicone resin, diluted with water. Washable, elastic, flexible,
waterproof with hydrophobic properties, resistant to scratch and impact, highly
resistant to aggressive environmental factors such as rain, humidity, temperature
variations, solar radiation, pollution, etc. - it is used for decorative coatings and
special effect finishes for interior and exterior works.

Can be applied to any type of mineral surfaces: plasters, concrete, masonry, but
are recommended for historic buildings and monuments and also on the north
side of buildings. Due to its higher professional quality, it can be easily applied in
a single layer or as a trowel plaster, scratched or rolling.

The product is delivered by the manufacturer already colored at the option of the
beneficiary, based on ADEPLAST color chart, or is delivered white and colored when
applied using coloring paste.
Silicone decorative plaster should be applied on dry, dust-free and carrying surfaces. Any projections will be removed. Inhomogeneous surfaces showing oil
substances or otherwise, which could form a film between the material and support must be treated accordingly.

On how to apply the paint, in the case of trowel plaster (of 1.0mm, 1.5mm and
3.0mm) and the scratched plaster (of 2.0mm and 3.0mm), this will apply with
the stainless steel trowel (float metal) in a thin layer (optimum layer thickness
as close as the diameter of the granules). On the trowel plaster the structuring is
made in a uniform way until you obtain the desired relief and appearance: granular - calcium type. At the scratched plaster you can choose the layout, direction
and form of the grooves depending on how the structure is made (vertical, horizontal, round, irregular, etc..). Role plaster application will be made with a stainless steel trowel with teeth of 4mm and after that the material is spread evenly
with a structure roller made of harsh sponge (surface with holes) in a vertical way
and then horizontal.

The material cannot be applied in bright sunlight or at high wind or when there is
a risk of rain or freezing they may cause, during application and drying, cracking
and colour differences. After application, the external surfaces will be protected
from rain, until completely dry (48 h at 20 ˚C). For any coloured plasters, joints
and joiners between colours are made using self-adhesive paper.

Application of the material on the support surface

SUPPORT SURFACE:
It must be strengthened, clean, dry, free of cracks, adherent and compact, free from grease, dust,
breakable residues and salts. Swelling and warp old mortar will be removed. The support surface
will be plastered with ordinary mortar and lime or with mortars from ADEPLAST® mortars range.
For uneven surfaces such as screeds we will apply a levelling screed. In the case of surfaces that
must be plated in wet areas, outside or at the pool, you can, in advance, waterproof the surface
with ADEPLAST® MH-1K waterproofing mono-component membrane.
In the case of bad or deformable support surfaces, it is necessary to use AF-S white or AF-S
grey.
BCA walls will be plastered in advance with mortar based on cement-lime (ADEPLAST ® MTI-25
indoor ADEPLAST ® Outdoor MTE-35) after complete curing of the mortar (7 days/cm applied
layer thickness) and then the adhesive can be applied.
TOOLS NEEDED:
- bucket
- mechanical or by hand mixer
- trowel
- notched with teeth of 6 x 6 mm, 8 mm x 8 mm or 10 x 10 mm depending on the size of the
plate
- construction level
- tile cutter
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION:
The powder is introduced into water and then we begin mixing. Both the container and the water
used must be clean. It is recommended to mix a quantity that is used once in an hour. Mixing is
done vigorously, preferably mechanical (to an electric drill an axle paddle can be attach) until
a creamy mixture, homogeneous, easy to be processed and with suitable fluidity. In the event
that an insufficient amount of water is added, the product loses its adhesive properties. Wait 10
minutes for the completion of chemical reactions and mix vigorously again. The paste is placed
on the surface in a thickness of 4-5 mm, after which rake with a comb with teeth of 6-8 mm in
width and depth. Raking the paste has a double advantage: increases grip plate and reduces the
material consumption. Paste deposited on the adhesive pad maintains properties for 15-20 minutes. Paste adhesive capacity can be checked by tapping the surface with fingers. Sticky fingers
indicate that paste adhesive is suitable. Plates are placed onto the adhesive layer and pressure
is applied vigorously, followed by tapping movements, in order to ensure the largest possible
contact area ( at least 75 % of the back of the plate ).
In the case of AF-N ADEPLAST ® adhesive, when tiles are applied over a smooth surface like dapper cement, mosaic, old tiles, the surface must be clean in advance by washing with warm water
and liquid detergent - wash traces of detergent with water, wipe surface with a clean, dry cloth,
then apply a bonding layer of 0.5 - 1 mm thick AF-N ADEPLAST® adhesive and leave it for 24
hours to harden. The next day, over this layer, the mixture is applied using a comb shape trowel.
The paste from the bucket retains its adhesives properties for at least 2 hours. Joints are closed
with ADEPLAST KITS JOINTS, ADEPLAST QK-6 or QK-15, after a minimum curing period of 24
hours.
Any subsequent work will be done after a minimum of 72 hours from the plating time.
THE SURFACE BECOMES USABLE:
After a minimum of 24 hours for ADEPLAST JOINTS KITS, ADEPLAST QK-6 or QK-15 - adhesive
kits for joints. After less than 72 hours for general use.

MONO-COMPONENT WATERPROOF MEMBRANE
Scope of use:

It is used for waterproofing works on terraces, balconies, pools or water tanks before plating with ceramic
tiles, natural stone or marble. For plating, use only a
flexible adhesive such as GREY AF-S or WHITE AF-S.
Due to the grain size of 0.8 mm the surface roughness
is very high, resulting in an increased adherence of
the adhesive applied to the waterproof membrane.
Do not use for swimming pools and water tanks with
depths over 4 meters, on surfaces that are generating
efflorescence and also on mineral surfaces with low
compressive strength (breakable surfaces).

BASF is the worldwide leader in the chemical field: The Chemical Company. The German Group
stands for a reliable partner of all industries and contributes to the increase of its partners’ success
by supplying high quality products, smart solutions and innovative technologies. The BASF Group is
represented in Romania by the BASF SRL company that was incorporated back in 1993.
In 2012, BASF entered into a co-branding partnership with Adeplast company, under which the
latter may use the Neopor® products in Romania, Hungary and the Republic of Moldavia. Under such
co-branding agreement, all packaging Neopor® based graphitized expanded polystyrene shall be
marked as “ Made of Neopor ® provided by BASF”, as a certification of the raw material that was used
for manufacturing purposes and as a highlight on the chemical industry world leader partnership.
BASF discovered more than 60 years ago a classic element, namely the expanded polystyrene, under
the EPS abbreviation. Under the Styropor® brand, EPS stands even nowadays for the global solution
to effective building thermal insulation or to product safe packaging. In 1995 BASF was awarded
the invention patent for Neopor®. With this new product range, BASF carried on and improved the
Styropor® product range performances. The new insulation material is expanded and processed as
foam blocks, panels/boards and moulded components. As for Neopor®, graphite was also added
to the raw material mix, which absorbs and reflects heat radiation and improves the EPS thermal
insulation capacity by up to 20%.
Neopor® is formed of small grey polystyrene granules (EPS) containing an expanding agent; this
unique raw material is further on processed in thermal insulation materials intended for a wide
range of applications.
Neopor®-made thermal insulation materials provide an increased thermal insulation capacity and
a raw material consumption of up to 50% lower than the conventional EPS.Thus, the products and
environment- friendly and thus both resource and cost effective for the client. The Neopor® ecological materials contain air cells that guarantee the preservation of technical conductivity throughout
the building’s operating life.
Neopor ® granules (EPS) expanded polystyrene –made insulation materials are resistant to damage
and aging as well as highly solid and stable size wise. Given such properties, the Neopor® systems
provide long-term insulation and permanent safety.
Prior to applying the exterior/outdoor insulation that is made of Neopor® insulating materials, you
must check the sub- layer load resistance capacity. The wall must be dried while the existing plaster
layer must be cavity-free and mobile part shall be removed. You must also first prepare the sandbased sub-layers or the layers having a larger absorption capacity. The Neopor® insulation boards
are mounted on the brickwork by means of adhesives/glues, dowels or mounting stands. The boards
shall be installed from the lower side towards the upper side so as to make sure that they are tightly
fixed to one another and that they are combined into the brickwork (avoiding intersection points).
The boards that are applied on all building corners must be joined under the dovetail shape. You
must make sure that the surface is flat both horizontally and vertically. Slight imperfections may be
corrected by applying an adhesive/glue while the edge prominences may be smoothed by abrasion.
In order to avoid fissures and to mechanically protect the façade, it is necessary that both indoor and
outdoor sides be reinforced. Such procedure is performed by means of a reinforcing material and
an adequate reinforcing fabric. Once the exterior insulation has completely dried, you shall apply
the protection exterior layer as final adequate plastering that must be compatible with the entire
system. As compared to alternative available products, Neopor® provides cost-effective advantages
that have a lower environmental impact, and also ecological solutions for a modern thermal protection.
GRAFIPLAST with Neopor® is featured under two compression- resistant versions:
- EPS80GR
- EPS100GR
Scope of use: as thermal insulation boards intended for: ventilated facades, ETICS system facades
(External thermal insulation composite systems)

100,110, 120, 130, , 140, 150, 160 +/- 2 mm.

Field of use:

Intended for wall and flooring insulation against heated spaces adjacent to ground/soil. The boards are
made by means of EPS- injecting machines. The surface on one side is provided with drainage striations
under a rhomboid structure. Perimeter step rabbet (SF) guarantees a thermal bridge-free insulation.
Competitive advantages: - extremely low water absorption, due to a very good juncture of expanded particles;
		- very good resistance due to high volumetric density;
		- 10 % better thermal insulation as compared to the regular expanded EPS boards.
Board sizes [mm]:
Perimeter thermal insulation board FF 30mm 1265 x 615 mm; 12,00 m² (0,360 m³)/Pack

Field of use:

Mineral wool has been used in the building industry for over 60 years and has proved to be a safe, efficient
and accessible insulation method. The wool insulation is of high performance and provides noise and fire
protection as well as advantages such as power savings, and thus has all the insulation and mechanical
relevant characteristics. The excellent thermal insulation properties allow for the reduction of home
heating or chilling costs. Since it is made of natural materials-sand, gross side materials – broken glass – it
helps reduce the power consumption and the atmosphere-released pollution emission, but also reduce
the weight on the base structure. The product resistance allows for an increased material compression and
guarantees that the product resumes its declared thickness, thus transportation, storage and warehousing
costs are significantly reduced.

SUPPORT SURFACE:
The support surface must be clean, rigid, without detached parts and well hardened; it must also be at
least 28 days old. The surface must be checked by hammer in order to see if it presents sufficient plating
resistance.
NECESSARY TOOLS: - bucket – mechanic or manual mixer; - trowel; - teethed grouter 6 x 6 mm, to 12 x 12
mm; - level instrument
PREPARATION AND PLACING METHOD:
Put the powder into water and begin mixing. Both the container and the water must be clean. It is
recommended that you mix at one time a quantity that will be used within one hour. Mix energetically
and preferably mechanically (attach a blade shaft to the electric boring mill) in order to obtain a creamy,
homogeneous, easily processable mix, with an adequate fluidity. If you ad an insufficient water quantity,
the product may loose its adhesive properties. Wait for 10 minutes to allow chemical reactions to take
place and then resume firm mixing. For flat, plastered surfaces, the adhesive/glue shall be placed on the
entire polystyrene board surface, by using a 10-12 mm teethed grouter then press the board onto the
insulation surface. For subsidence surface, the paste shall be placed onto the polystyrene board as spots at
approximately equal distances of 15 to 20 cm and on the edge as a broad stripe of 3 to 4 cm, so as to ensure
at least 40-50% covering out of the entire polystyrene board surface (check periodically). The polystyrene
board is then pressed onto the insulation surface. The final straight surface is obtained by pressing several
boards onto the surface by means of wood or metal long straight edge. The mineral wool rigid board shall
be placed on the surface by means of an 8x8 mm to 12x12mm teethed grouter. The paste is placed on the
support surface in a 4 to 5 mm layer, then rake by using the teethed grouter. The paste thus placed on the
support shall keep its adhesive properties for at least 20 minutes. The paste adhesive capacity is checked
by touching the surface with the fingers of the aloof hand. The paste sticking to the fingers stands for
an adequate adhesiveness. 24 hours after placement, the thermal and noise insulating boards must be
dowelled by 4- 6 dowels/ m², and then the same adhesive must be placed on the polystyrene board or on
the rigid mineral fiber board by using a 6 x 6 mm up to 10 x 10 mm teethed grouter. Starting from the top
side of the surface, roll a glass fiber net provided with 5 x 5 mm up to 10x 10 mm meshes and then press
on the formed stripes. Use the right side of the grouter to uniformly insert inside the adhesive/glue. The
net rows shall be lapped over on portions of at least 10 cm; in case of window and door corners you must
provide additional reinforcing by means of reinforcing net stripes of at least 20 cm length and width. It is
recommended to use an anti-alkali treated reinforcing net weighing at least 145 g/m². The thus obtained
surface shall be finished also by using the polystyrene adhesive/glue until you obtain a flat surface that is
ready for decorative products application.
CAUTION: IN CASE OF HIGHLY ABSORBENT SURFACES, SUCH AS BCA, OLD OR NEW BUT HIGHLY ABSORBENT
BRICK, etc, PRIOR TO POLISTIROL GLUING YOU MUST PRIME THE SURFACE BY MEANS OF A CEMENT SPRAY
AND THEN LET IT DRY FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS.
SURFACE BECOMES USABLE: The surface may be covered or finished at least 72 hours later, with all organic
solvent-free known materials. It is recommended that you use expanded and extruded polystyrene for
insulation purposes and to cover with decorative structured plasters of the ADEPLAST® COLOR SYSTEM
product range, as final finishing layer.

30

REQUIRED TOOLS:
- bucket
- manual or mechanic mixer
- trowel
- cross-type spacers

PLACEMENT METHOD:
The material shall be dispersed over the free edges of the glass brick; place a 5-10 mm spacer between the
bricks in order to get uniform joints. If the glass brick geometry so allows, also insert a steel wire armature
at each brick row. Upon finishing each layer, clean the mortar excess off the bricks. 72 hours later you may
perform jointing also using the ADEPLAST® MZ /GLASS glass brick mortar.
If you intend to obtain an extra finished surface, use the ADEPLAST®
GU or ADEPLAST® SGC cement polishing plaster coat (super cement polishing plaster coat) for finishing
purposes.
The adhesive mortar for glass brick walling- ADEPLAST® MZ-GLASS – simplifies bricking, considerably
reduces material consumption and drastically reduces work time.
The cutback on the mortar layer thickness also results in the heat loss reduction!

SUPPORT SURFACE:
The product shall be applied on clean, grease-free, dust-free and impurities-free gypsum boards
(plaster boards). In case of size cut boards, deepen the joint as in a V-shape by acclive cutting the
boards.
WATER MIXING APPLICABILITY:
- for 1 hour
REQUIRED TOOLS:
- bucket
- manual or mechanical mixer
- spatula
TOOL CLEANING:
- with water, prior to hardening
ENVIRONMENTAL TEMPERATURE:
- between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid working under direct sun light.
PLACEMENT AND PREPARATION METHOD:
Insert the powder into the water. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes for maceration purposes, and then
mix vigorously and mechanically, preferably (attach a blade shaft to an electric boring mill). Keep
mixing until you obtain a very creamy, easily exploitable, homogenous mix that is clog-free. The
thus obtained mix is then inserted into the joints and then covered with a glass fiber stripe that
is then covered with another joint adhesive/glue layer for gypsum. The adhesive/glue surface
is smoothed by means of a grouter so as to obtain uniform surface for the entire board. Besides
the recommendations above, it is important that all effective norms and standards be complied
with. Guaranteed characteristics are based on practical experience and performed tests. Location
and application specific conditions may differ from those presented herein; thus, a correct and
successful use of our products is not included in our responsibility scope.

FLOOR SCREEDS AND INDUSTRIAL FLOORING
	 Self-levelling floor screed placement guide

SUPPORT SURFACE:
The support surface must be hardened and at least 28 days old, clean, dried, fissure and crack-free, adherent and compact, grease-free; it must not have any chemical adhesive debris left from existing covering
removal, no friable debris, no salts, with a minimum 150 mark. The surface must be dusted, mechanically
and chemically cleaned (if applicable) until you obtain a load-bearing layer that is perfectly adherent and
clean.
The next step is to cast an ADEPLAST® ACRYLIC PRIMER layer that connects the concrete layer to the
self-leveling screed and uniforms the sub-layer absorption level. In case of completely non-adherent
surfaces (such as old floor tiles, mosaic, shiny smoothed cement, etc), previously apply a two-component
epoxy primer in order to create a connection bridge between the sub-layer and the self-leveling floor creed
(please consult with the epoxy products manufacturers).
REQUIRED TOOLS: - bucket – mechanic or manual mixer - trowel; - rubber pin roller - leveling board
PLACEMENT AND PREPARATION METHOD:
Insert the powder into the water and begin mixing. Both the container and the water must be clean. Mix
carefully and mechanically, preferably (attach a blade shaft to an electric boring mill and mix at low speed)
so as to prevent air bubbles to form inside the mix, until you obtain a creamy, homogenous and easily
exploitable product. Wait for 10 minutes in order for the chemical reactions to take place. The self-leveling
screed is then cast on the surface to be leveled at the consistency of a fluid sour cream; then level over
the surface by using a trowel. No water mirror must be formed on the cast screed surface. All possible air
bubbles must be eliminated from the screed surface, by means of a rubber pin roller; then level the surface
by means of a broad leveling board.
SURFACE BECOMES USABLE:

After no less than 24 hours, for floor tile covering. After no less than 72 hours for parquet or
moquette placing. The hardening time is extended at temperatures below 20°C.

SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
- do not use for heavy walk-on traffic flooring (industrial facilities)
- in case the product is to be applied over the floor heating system, cut the heating at least 24 hours
before placement and restart the system only after final hardening.
- in case of large surfaces, allow for dilation joints ( at distances of 4 to 7 m).
- avoid self-leveling screed casting when the night temperature may drop under +5°C.

AdePlast Catalogue -English Version

  • 2. 17 YEARS OF FIGHT OVER SUPREMACY! About us Founded in the year 1996, ADEPLAST is a dynamic company which is present on the construction materials market in Romania and on other markets as well, which grows continuously according to customers and partners demands, offering perfectly adaptable complete solutions. ADEPLAST is the only company with 100% Romanian funds which is on the top 10 manufacturer list next to multinational companies with high reputation like “Lafarge Cement”, “Holcim”, “Carpatcement Holding”. The spectacular evolution of the company has determined the extension of her production capacities, at present time there is a factory in Oradea, one in Ploiesti and another in Roman. Today we have finish another paint&plasters factory in Ploiesti. Evolution and perspectives At the starting point of ADEPLAST, Marcel Barbut owned 96% of company shares, investing 10.000 $ - the equivalent of 31.000.000 Lei at that period. The other four associates contributed with only 8$, meaning 25.000 Lei. However, the profit was split equally. Within one year the associates had the right to re-buy the shares. By the profit they made, the four share-holders had bought their shares, each one of them having 20%. In the year 2002 Mr. Marcel Barbut bought from Mr. Aron another 10% from the share-package with 125.000 Euro, managing to own 30% of the company shares. The same thing is being done by Mr. Flaviu Pop who manages to hold 30% of the shares, also. In the year 2005 the Stefani family together with Mr. Marcel Barbut bought Mr. Flaviu Pop and Mr. Erdosi shares with the sum of 5.000.000 Euro and in this way Mr. Barbut manages to hold 60% of the shares and the Stefani family only 40%. In 2007 Mr. Marcel Barbut buys for 6.000.000 Euro the shares of Stefani family and manages to own all the shares of AdePlast. In the same year Mr. Marcel Barbut gives one share to Mrs. Cristina Paveliuc and transforms AdePlast in a company based on stocks, his intention being to have it rated on the Stock-Market so that he can obtain the necessary funds for a new development. Because of the economical crisis during that time Mr. Marcel Barbut gives up at the Stock-Market ratings and starts investing, very seriously, in the development of the company throughout credits. Because of the continuous ascension of the company and also her profitability the UNICREDIT TIRIAC Bank has sustained and she still does all the initial plans for development of AdePlast. INTERCAPITAL, close related to ERSTE will share the AdePlast investment group to the Stock-Market for developing a surprise investment. Brief History • 1994, founded at Oradea, having the name “Multistar Prod S.R.L.” • 1996 Mr. Marcel Bărbuţ becomes share-holder and the company becomes an austrian-romanian mixt company, the goal of the company becomes the production of adhesives mortars for ceramic tiles, plasters, industrial floors 2

Expanded polystyrene factory This factory has a capacity of producing white polystyrene for over 700.000 cubic meters. The production line bought from Zentyss makes 150.000 cubic meters per year of graphite polystyrene being a line dedicated to this profile. As a result, the entire capacity of production is of 850.000 cubic meters. Paints and decorative plasters factory At the beginning of August - 2013, at Ploiesti, a new factory of paits and decorative plasters has been build with a value of aprox. 6.000.000 Euro. The factory has a production capacity of 20.000 tones/year and she is fully automatized - the factory is being operated by 5 employes only. 3
  • 4. Oradea Industrial Platform Paints and decorative plasters factory The total production capacity reaches to 20.000 tones/year for washable paints and decorative plasters. The production is made only by 5 employes because the factory is completely automatized. Dry mortars factory We produce annually about 250.000 tones of dry mortars. 25 - 40% of production is designated to export in countries such as: Hungary, Slovakia, Germany and Austria. The purpose of ADEPLAST is to export as a unit the components of an integrated system (adhesives, polystyrene, fillers foundation and decorative plasters). Expanded polystyrene factory The polystyrene factory will have a capacity identical to the one in Ploiesti of over 700.000 m³ and is the only one in Europe who can produce white and graphite polystyrene at the same time. The total capacity predicted for the polystyrene production, of both types, for Oradea, Roman and Ploiesti locations will be of over 2.250.000 m³/year. Roman Industrial Platform Dry mortars factory The investment was started in the year 2010, but postponed due to the lack of a financially support and bureaucratic impediments from the government and local authorities. Started all over again by own efforts in the year 2012 and against all difficulties, the new adhesives and dry mortars factory rises in a sustained way. At the beginning of the year 2013 the factory is up and ready and manages to produce over 450.000 tones/year of adhesives and dry mortars - European quality. Expanded polystyrene factory The factory will have a capacity identical to the one in Ploiesti of 700.000m³ being the only one in Europe who can produce both brands - white and graphite polystyrene. 4

  • 12. adhesives for tiling adhesives for tiling ADHESIVES FOR TILING Preparation Guide for ceramic tiles adhesives Mixing Trowel The consistency of the material on the trowel 12 Application of the material on the support surface SUPPORT SURFACE: It must be strengthened, clean, dry, free of cracks, adherent and compact, free from grease, dust, breakable residues and salts. Swelling and warp old mortar will be removed. The support surface will be plastered with ordinary mortar and lime or with mortars from ADEPLAST® mortars range. For uneven surfaces such as screeds we will apply a levelling screed. In the case of surfaces that must be plated in wet areas, outside or at the pool, you can, in advance, waterproof the surface with ADEPLAST® MH-1K waterproofing mono-component membrane. In the case of bad or deformable support surfaces, it is necessary to use AF-S white or AF-S grey. BCA walls will be plastered in advance with mortar based on cement-lime (ADEPLAST ® MTI-25 indoor ADEPLAST ® Outdoor MTE-35) after complete curing of the mortar (7 days/cm applied layer thickness) and then the adhesive can be applied. TOOLS NEEDED: - bucket - mechanical or by hand mixer - trowel - notched with teeth of 6 x 6 mm, 8 mm x 8 mm or 10 x 10 mm depending on the size of the plate - construction level - tile cutter PREPARATION AND APPLICATION: The powder is introduced into water and then we begin mixing. Both the container and the water used must be clean. It is recommended to mix a quantity that is used once in an hour. Mixing is done vigorously, preferably mechanical (to an electric drill an axle paddle can be attach) until a creamy mixture, homogeneous, easy to be processed and with suitable fluidity. In the event that an insufficient amount of water is added, the product loses its adhesive properties. Wait 10 minutes for the completion of chemical reactions and mix vigorously again. The paste is placed on the surface in a thickness of 4-5 mm, after which rake with a comb with teeth of 6-8 mm in width and depth. Raking the paste has a double advantage: increases grip plate and reduces the material consumption. Paste deposited on the adhesive pad maintains properties for 15-20 minutes. Paste adhesive capacity can be checked by tapping the surface with fingers. Sticky fingers indicate that paste adhesive is suitable. Plates are placed onto the adhesive layer and pressure is applied vigorously, followed by tapping movements, in order to ensure the largest possible contact area ( at least 75 % of the back of the plate ). In the case of AF-N ADEPLAST ® adhesive, when tiles are applied over a smooth surface like dapper cement, mosaic, old tiles, the surface must be clean in advance by washing with warm water and liquid detergent - wash traces of detergent with water, wipe surface with a clean, dry cloth, then apply a bonding layer of 0.5 - 1 mm thick AF-N ADEPLAST® adhesive and leave it for 24 hours to harden. The next day, over this layer, the mixture is applied using a comb shape trowel. The paste from the bucket retains its adhesives properties for at least 2 hours. Joints are closed with ADEPLAST KITS JOINTS, ADEPLAST QK-6 or QK-15, after a minimum curing period of 24 hours. Any subsequent work will be done after a minimum of 72 hours from the plating time. THE SURFACE BECOMES USABLE: After a minimum of 24 hours for ADEPLAST JOINTS KITS, ADEPLAST QK-6 or QK-15 - adhesive kits for joints. After less than 72 hours for general use.
  • 13. adhesives for tiling adhesives for tiling Specific consumption optimization by raking. Plate adhesive appliance. Application of the material on the support surface. Applying the plate and tapping. AF-I IMPORTANT: At temperatures below 20 ° C the curing time is extended. In addition to the above it is important to follow all the rules and standards that are now in place. Guaranteed characteristics are based on practical experience and tests. The specific location and application may be different from those presented here, therefore, proper and successful use of our products is not in our sphere of responsibility. • 19. expanded polystyrene thermal insulation materials BASF is the worldwide leader in the chemical field: The Chemical Company. The German Group stands for a reliable partner of all industries and contributes to the increase of its partners’ success by supplying high quality products, smart solutions and innovative technologies. The BASF Group is represented in Romania by the BASF SRL company that was incorporated back in 1993. In 2012, BASF entered into a co-branding partnership with Adeplast company, under which the latter may use the Neopor® products in Romania, Hungary and the Republic of Moldavia. Under such co-branding agreement, all packaging Neopor® based graphitized expanded polystyrene shall be marked as “ Made of Neopor ® provided by BASF”, as a certification of the raw material that was used for manufacturing purposes and as a highlight on the chemical industry world leader partnership. BASF discovered more than 60 years ago a classic element, namely the expanded polystyrene, under the EPS abbreviation. Under the Styropor® brand, EPS stands even nowadays for the global solution to effective building thermal insulation or to product safe packaging. In 1995 BASF was awarded the invention patent for Neopor®. With this new product range, BASF carried on and improved the Styropor® product range performances. The new insulation material is expanded and processed as foam blocks, panels/boards and moulded components. As for Neopor®, graphite was also added to the raw material mix, which absorbs and reflects heat radiation and improves the EPS thermal insulation capacity by up to 20%. Neopor® is formed of small grey polystyrene granules (EPS) containing an expanding agent; this unique raw material is further on processed in thermal insulation materials intended for a wide range of applications. Neopor®-made thermal insulation materials provide an increased thermal insulation capacity and a raw material consumption of up to 50% lower than the conventional EPS.Thus, the products and environment- friendly and thus both resource and cost effective for the client. The Neopor® ecological materials contain air cells that guarantee the preservation of technical conductivity throughout the building’s operating life. Neopor ® granules (EPS) expanded polystyrene –made insulation materials are resistant to damage and aging as well as highly solid and stable size wise. Given such properties, the Neopor® systems provide long-term insulation and permanent safety. Prior to applying the exterior/outdoor insulation that is made of Neopor® insulating materials, you must check the sub- layer load resistance capacity. The wall must be dried while the existing plaster layer must be cavity-free and mobile part shall be removed. You must also first prepare the sandbased sub-layers or the layers having a larger absorption capacity. The Neopor® insulation boards are mounted on the brickwork by means of adhesives/glues, dowels or mounting stands. The boards shall be installed from the lower side towards the upper side so as to make sure that they are tightly fixed to one another and that they are combined into the brickwork (avoiding intersection points). The boards that are applied on all building corners must be joined under the dovetail shape. You must make sure that the surface is flat both horizontally and vertically. Slight imperfections may be corrected by applying an adhesive/glue while the edge prominences may be smoothed by abrasion. In order to avoid fissures and to mechanically protect the façade, it is necessary that both indoor and outdoor sides be reinforced. Such procedure is performed by means of a reinforcing material and an adequate reinforcing fabric. Once the exterior insulation has completely dried, you shall apply the protection exterior layer as final adequate plastering that must be compatible with the entire system. As compared to alternative available products, Neopor® provides cost-effective advantages that have a lower environmental impact, and also ecological solutions for a modern thermal protection. GRAFIPLAST with Neopor® is featured under two compression- resistant versions: - EPS80GR - EPS100GR Scope of use: as thermal insulation boards intended for: ventilated facades, ETICS system facades (External thermal insulation composite systems) Cutting thickness [mm]: as per SR EN823 the boards may be cut at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100,110, 120, 130, , 140, 150, 160 +/- 2 mm. expanded polystyrene thermal insulation materials ADEPLAST® - Neopor®: a long-term partnership 19

  • 26. thermal insulation system adhesives/glues thermal insulation system adhesives/glues THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEMS – ADHESIVES/GLUES, SPATULA MASS Adhesive/glue and spatula mass placing guide for thermal insulation system application. 1 2 4 3 5 6 SUPPORT SURFACE: The support surface must be clean, rigid, without detached parts and well hardened; it must also be at least 28 days old. The surface must be checked by hammer in order to see if it presents sufficient plating resistance. NECESSARY TOOLS: - bucket – mechanic or manual mixer; - trowel; - teethed grouter 6 x 6 mm, to 12 x 12 mm; - level instrument PREPARATION AND PLACING METHOD: Put the powder into water and begin mixing. Both the container and the water must be clean. It is recommended that you mix at one time a quantity that will be used within one hour. Mix energetically and preferably mechanically (attach a blade shaft to the electric boring mill) in order to obtain a creamy, homogeneous, easily processable mix, with an adequate fluidity. If you ad an insufficient water quantity, the product may loose its adhesive properties. Wait for 10 minutes to allow chemical reactions to take place and then resume firm mixing. For flat, plastered surfaces, the adhesive/glue shall be placed on the entire polystyrene board surface, by using a 10-12 mm teethed grouter then press the board onto the insulation surface. For subsidence surface, the paste shall be placed onto the polystyrene board as spots at approximately equal distances of 15 to 20 cm and on the edge as a broad stripe of 3 to 4 cm, so as to ensure at least 40-50% covering out of the entire polystyrene board surface (check periodically). The polystyrene board is then pressed onto the insulation surface. The final straight surface is obtained by pressing several boards onto the surface by means of wood or metal long straight edge. The mineral wool rigid board shall be placed on the surface by means of an 8x8 mm to 12x12mm teethed grouter. The paste is placed on the support surface in a 4 to 5 mm layer, then rake by using the teethed grouter. The paste thus placed on the support shall keep its adhesive properties for at least 20 minutes. The paste adhesive capacity is checked by touching the surface with the fingers of the aloof hand. The paste sticking to the fingers stands for an adequate adhesiveness. 24 hours after placement, the thermal and noise insulating boards must be dowelled by 4- 6 dowels/ m², and then the same adhesive must be placed on the polystyrene board or on the rigid mineral fiber board by using a 6 x 6 mm up to 10 x 10 mm teethed grouter. Starting from the top side of the surface, roll a glass fiber net provided with 5 x 5 mm up to 10x 10 mm meshes and then press on the formed stripes. Use the right side of the grouter to uniformly insert inside the adhesive/glue. The net rows shall be lapped over on portions of at least 10 cm; in case of window and door corners you must provide additional reinforcing by means of reinforcing net stripes of at least 20 cm length and width. It is recommended to use an anti-alkali treated reinforcing net weighing at least 145 g/m². The thus obtained surface shall be finished also by using the polystyrene adhesive/glue until you obtain a flat surface that is ready for decorative products application. CAUTION: IN CASE OF HIGHLY ABSORBENT SURFACES, SUCH AS BCA, OLD OR NEW BUT HIGHLY ABSORBENT BRICK, etc, PRIOR TO POLISTIROL GLUING YOU MUST PRIME THE SURFACE BY MEANS OF A CEMENT SPRAY AND THEN LET IT DRY FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS. SURFACE BECOMES USABLE: The surface may be covered or finished at least 72 hours later, with all organic solvent-free known materials. It is recommended that you use expanded and extruded polystyrene for insulation purposes and to cover with decorative structured plasters of the ADEPLAST® COLOR SYSTEM product range, as final finishing layer. 1. corner board mounting. 2. dowel fixing. 3. corner dowelling. 4. corner reinforcement (net profile). 5. spatula procedure (net embedment in the spatula mass) 6. net overlapping procedure 7. window and door additional reinforce- 7 PSP POLISTIROL PREMIUM – POLYSTYRENE INTENDED ADHESIVE/GLUE AND SPATULA MASS Scope of use: Specific consumption: 26 For thermal and noise insulation works by means of expanded and extruded polystyrene for facades, as well as for polystyrene or rigid polyurethane ornaments gluing, for indoor or outdoor purposes. • 36. Floor screeds, industrial flooring Floor screeds, industrial flooring FLOOR SCREEDS AND INDUSTRIAL FLOORING Self-levelling floor screed placement guide SUPPORT SURFACE: The support surface must be hardened and at least 28 days old, clean, dried, fissure and crack-free, adherent and compact, grease-free; it must not have any chemical adhesive debris left from existing covering removal, no friable debris, no salts, with a minimum 150 mark. The surface must be dusted, mechanically and chemically cleaned (if applicable) until you obtain a load-bearing layer that is perfectly adherent and clean. The next step is to cast an ADEPLAST® ACRYLIC PRIMER layer that connects the concrete layer to the self-leveling screed and uniforms the sub-layer absorption level. In case of completely non-adherent surfaces (such as old floor tiles, mosaic, shiny smoothed cement, etc), previously apply a two-component epoxy primer in order to create a connection bridge between the sub-layer and the self-leveling floor creed (please consult with the epoxy products manufacturers). REQUIRED TOOLS: - bucket – mechanic or manual mixer - trowel; - rubber pin roller - leveling board PLACEMENT AND PREPARATION METHOD: Insert the powder into the water and begin mixing. Both the container and the water must be clean. Mix carefully and mechanically, preferably (attach a blade shaft to an electric boring mill and mix at low speed) so as to prevent air bubbles to form inside the mix, until you obtain a creamy, homogenous and easily exploitable product. Wait for 10 minutes in order for the chemical reactions to take place. The self-leveling screed is then cast on the surface to be leveled at the consistency of a fluid sour cream; then level over the surface by using a trowel. No water mirror must be formed on the cast screed surface. All possible air bubbles must be eliminated from the screed surface, by means of a rubber pin roller; then level the surface by means of a broad leveling board. SURFACE BECOMES USABLE: After no less than 24 hours, for floor tile covering. After no less than 72 hours for parquet or moquette placing. The hardening time is extended at temperatures below 20°C. SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS: - do not use for heavy walk-on traffic flooring (industrial facilities) - in case the product is to be applied over the floor heating system, cut the heating at least 24 hours before placement and restart the system only after final hardening. - in case of large surfaces, allow for dilation joints ( at distances of 4 to 7 m). - avoid self-leveling screed casting when the night temperature may drop under +5°C.
