3. TAKEAWAYS - 1
Design thinking is more than what you think and it
makes you think by stretching your capabilities
The ideas become solutions when they are noted
down on paper and classified according to the
preferences

4. TAKEAWAYS - 2
Every person is creative enough to generate many
solutions to a single problem. The only thing is we
have to push ourselves and think out of the box to
solve the problem
Also creativity can be developed and sharpened
to a greater extent

5. TAKEAWAYS - 3
You learn and work more when working in a team,
instead of working alone.
You can share and exchange information, learning,
doubts, experiences etc. which ultimately leads to
‘learning from experiences’

Reflect Inside
Meet and Learn
How is my workspace?
Creative methods to solve problems
Now, define
Ideate, man!

7. PROCESS MAP: REFLECT INSIDE
A bit difficult exercise, as it made me to introspect
and find out the expectations from the course,
where I was not fully aware of the course agenda
It helped me to take this course seriously

8. PROCESS MAP: MEET AND LEARN
Forming a squad was never a difficult task, as I
joined the team of my friends.
Further exercises were individual and hence I
discussed my assignments and views of problem
and its solutions with my squad.
It helped a lot. In short, peer learning is the best way
to learn

9. PROCESS MAP: HOW IS MY WORKSPACE?
I never realized that the workspace can matter to
such a great extent in the creative process
Now I know the best way to organize and set my
workspace in a way it will help improve my daily
work, instead of being just a space

10. PROCESS MAP: CREATIVE METHODS TO
SOLVE PROBLEMS
I have never thought of the creative ways of solving
problem. The design thinking helps us to understand
the problem and its reasons deeply and lead to the
most feasible solution available
Now I am much confident to solve problems in due
course of time

11. PROCESS MAP: NOW, DEFINE!
I understood that defining the problem statement is
very crucial tool to solve the problem itself. It can
be done by interviewing the person in need
We can learn a lot of things ranging from passion,
ideas, thoughts, complains, dreams, problems -
we’ll never know it if there is no interview
Sometimes we plan in the projects in our workspace
and forget how are the people we are doing the
project for
Maybe the interview process makes the project
take a total inverse direction, as the reality can be
different than what you had thought

12. PROCESS MAP: IDEATE, MAN!!
Creating ideas is fun as well as challenging
The solution oriented fun gives more joy, as you
approach to solve the problem as well as you enjoy
the process at the same time
The quality ideas are gathered by brainstorming
and thinking deeply in to the problem

13. PROCESS MAP: PROTOTYPE AND TEST
Gathering ideas was a bit difficult stage, but the
most difficult, challenging and of-course likable
stage was creating a prototype and testing it.
It gave me immense confidence and now I can
handle problem effectively and find out the solution
It’s ‘mind-opening’ to get off the computer and
really create something that might be the solution,
even if the final product will be something digital,
making it with your own hands gets you really into
to it, deeper than in digital, which helps you
understand at all the best ways to finalize the
product, creatively

14. DESIGN THINKING REFLECTION
• I’m daily working on the projects that have an
impact on people, in the digital market, either the
college or at work
• This course gave me mindsets and helped me
create my own process to solve problems
• When you depend on others’ process or methods,
the work process gets very limited

15. DESIGN THINKING REFLECTION
I believe that the use of
stick board and
empathy map will help in
solving most of the
problems and I have
been using the same
tools to solve the
problems using the
concept of design
thinking

16. DESIGN THINKING REFLECTION
• Because I have been applying the concept of
design thinking at my work, I’m confident and
prepared on my own creative process now,
knowing how to identify where I am, the objectives
and how can I achieve them
• Another thing very important is the collaboration -
with your group/team and with people that might
give you insights, even as just interviewees
• This step is really important for the final results of the
output, and when you realize that the involvement
of others can help and elevate your work, the
project as a whole becomes complete and real
