• A leading institute for semantic technologies
• Established in Innsbruck, Tyrol, in August 2002, initially as a “Next Web
Generation” research group at the University of Innsbruck
University of Innsbruck is the oldest, and the
number 1 ranked university in Austria
(according to the Times Higher Education
rank, year 2010/11)
