10. This is the main image. The Article is about a recently new Band and provides great information on them. The Band Talk about their own influences and styles. A very good article for a reader, who wants to know the best upcoming bands and music. What THE DPS IS .

11. Language of the DPS Very simplistic Language, reader at ease, feels part of the convo, could suggest band easy going. Article, generally isn’t rude! But talks about their new provocative song. Very informative, talks about their recent gig ‘ The Vaccines played sould out show at oxfords Jericho’ Casual Language ‘ murky hoxton bar sipping beer’ Article personal ‘ pouring his heart out’ Personal talks about their influences for music their style, e.g Smiths.

13. FONT FONT: HEAVY SANS SERIF. Very common style, which could suggest normal guys.

15. Layout conventional or not? Very conventional, as natural eye flow from top right two bottom left.

16. Images and colour: I found the main image very simplistic, easy going image. Suggesting their personality easy going, and that is backed from the language of the magazine. Very common image, as just a close up of the band, suggesting are they a common type of band true or false? Probably true! The colours are very dark, white esc style. Very bland and simple, and that is what the article highlights their a simple band. And they admit that themselves.

19. Language of the DPS Very informative, gives you info on his songs for instance ‘ Lady Killer proves ‘ fuck you song’ was no fluke’ and is a powerful soul song! Long sentences, so it’s very informative magazine. Also very q esc, as it’s very good appropriate language. Also the language suites the man on the front cover, as he’s very mature and well respected music artist. Personal language, ’15 years he’s hitting his stride’ emotes his struggle, but makes us happy at the end as he is getting his dream. It’s a nice article ‘ liked his single will love his album’ you know it talks about his talent, gives him a great image.
