I have over 1000 hours on this tractor. I own 8 poultry house's, which are 40 x 516 foot long. I use the
Lewis # 4 cruster, and I use this TGF on my farm, plus I also contract 61 other farms for cleanouts! Ricky
Pyle with Tri County Equipment has been great to work with. I have noticed no overheating. I use a PTO
fluffer, which takes a good 60 hp to operate!! It is amazing how much power, the little tractor has under
the hood!! I run the charcoal filter for the ammonia. We run the fans inside the house's to help with the
surrounding dust! I have some sharp hills, which is no problem for this tractor!! You can’t even spin the
wheels if you want!! The creep gear is used 30% of the time, so you have a selection of the perfect
speed! Tri County installed a pair of front 3 point hitch arms, to move litter from both ends, using a 12 foot
box blade on the back, and a 10 foot on the front, with power to boot!! When I first saw the tractor, I didn't
think much of it, but overall, it has been great to own!! I would recommend the TGF 9400 to anybody that
owns chicken house's!!

Camille Hukari's fourth generation pear orchard is in the Hood River
Valley of Oregon.
She retired a 1965 Case Gas tractor for a TTR 4400 HST because in
her words it's like driving an ATV, low to the ground, easy to get on
and off (for those with 50 year plus knees) and it runs on 100 percent
bio-diesel.
For Camille, driving a diesel tractor in harvest, with the constant
backing up into diesel exhaust fumes to pick up a bin was impossible. The diesel fumes would literally
make me sick, so I kept that wonderful 1965 Case going. On the new tractor, not only does the entire
console rotate so I don't have to back up for a bin, the bio-diesel fuel has the aroma of French fries which
the harvest crew likes and it's exhaust fumes have no effect on me at all.
Because my orchard is on a fairly steep side hill, I need the four-wheel drive option. The 4400 is low to
the ground, very stable and has the power to climb those hills with a load on. It is a versatile tractor that is
fun to drive!

2. I Love the Antonio Carraro TTR 4400 bi-directional tractor!
My driveway is 4 miles long and I have some very steep hills on this road. I have to fight a long winter
with lots of snow. I have to battle 4 foot snow drifts at times. It used to take me 12 hours to clear my
driveway. 12 hours of looking backwards and then days of having to put up with the neck pain caused by
looking over my shoulder.
Now, with my Antonio Carraro TTR 4000, I do the same job in 4.5 hours!!! My word what a difference. I
am 6 feet 6 inches tall and 220 lbs and I love this machine! I switch the seat around and push my snow
blower! The hydrostatic transmission works great, the heater is great, the visibility is great, the
maneuverability is fantastic and being a big man on a small tractor, I was very pleased with the comfort.
300 hours on it this winter and I would highly recommend this great little tractor!

We have owned this tractor (TGF 9400) about 1 1/2 years, and it has about 800 hours on it's operation.
We have pulled a 15 foot batwing mower, across very steep hills and never looked back!! All the
implements we have, when they are hooked up and running, are doing there job's, with plenty of power
left over! The creeper gear is used to get the right speed inside the house's. We own 10 400-500 foot
long poultry house's, so the turning around room is great!! Powell Brothers Tractor in Seneca, SC have
been great to work with! The TGF 9400 is just a tough little tractor!! When it comes time, I would own
another TGF!! Plenty of tractor in a small package, having a 85 h.p. engine!!

The TGF air condition works great! The cleaning up of the location of the air condition takes some time to
get to, but in our business, it's part of the job!! With the TGF, we romove 18,000 tons of litter each year,
with a KMC 4250 dump unit. I have 1600 hours on this tractor, and have worked this tractor for 2 years!! I
have 4 people that work with me, and they all want to use the TGF!! We clean 12 houses per week, so

I was looking at a national poultry magazine, and came across the ad for a cab tractor, that would fit
inside poultry houses. I thought about the tractor all the time, and even started to compare prices. We
decake and compost the litter, on 100 poultry farms in North Alabama. We use a KMC 4200 LP cleanout
machine. We was told by Vic Bannister, the tractor would handle the load, and it's done just that!! We
needed a part we broke, and Vic and his staff had it for us in 48 hours, and back running!! I wanted a
front loader for later, and the company said that would not be any problem. The craftsmanship is first
class!! The overall strength, power of lift arms, engine and pto power, all work great! The air condition
cab at the age of 54 is nice!! I would buy another Antonio Carraro Tractor !!

3. We have 18 poultry houses, operated by me, my son, and nephew. We all went together to buy the TGF
9400 Protector Cab, after seeing one at the Sunbelt Expo. We wanted to get out of the dusty conditions!
We decided to take advantage of the air condition environment! I am 6.3, so looking out the back glass is
not perfect for me, but being 59 years old, the health of the younger owners was a concern to all! We
stockpile our litter with a KMC duel axle decaker, and put all fertilizer into 3 - 40x100 ft. barns. 468,000
broilers, every 6 weeks makes for a bunch of litter to move!!
The clean slick profile of the cab can fit perfect under water and feeder lines. The creeper gear is perfect
for even pickup of litter. Plenty of pto / power from the 85 hp engine. Turning around inside the house is a
big plus, saving us great amount of time! Bannister Tractor told us the tractor would work very well, and
we have over 100 hours of operation so far, with no problems!!

Zipping under heavy laden tree branches

Bill Diedrich knew he needed a new tractor. The owner of Diedrich Ag Spray in Firebaugh has been
spraying ground crops since 1980. Over the years he saw the cotton he treated in the Westland Water
District be removed from production due to drainage problems, as more orchards being planted where
ground crops used to grow.
As the farming in the Mendota area diversified, Diedrich did too, but he needed a tractor that would fit
beneath the tree's branches. He found the Antonio Carraro TGF 9400 Cougar. At only 67-inches tall and
built like a racecar, the low-profile tractor can zip under tree branches heavy laden with fruits or nuts.
This tractor can scoot underneath and through the branches that are bending down into the tree row
better than any other tractor I've seen on the market, Diedrich said.
Antonio Carraro also has the TGF-Protector with a height between 73 to 75-inches, depending on the
configuration.
Diedrich bought his first Antonio Carraro in 2000. He now has a fleet with three TF 9400-CABs and one
new TGF 9400-CAB. The tractors may be small, but they can pull the large orchard sprayers with their 83
hp, 4-cycle, water-cooled engine.

4. We were initially concerned that it wouldn't be heavy enough to tow the equipment we use, Diedrich
said, as Diedrich Ag Spray uses the largest Air-O-Fan orchard sprayer on the market. It has been more
than adequate.
Diedrich and his crew of up to 16 licensed commercial sprayers apply pesticides for growers in the 25-
mile radius around Mendota. The pressurized cab and carbon filter keep the operators safe during work
shifts that can last up to 12 hour. The Antonio Carraro Air Control feature will indicate the life remaining in
the carbon filter as an additional safety feature for the operator and a display keeps the operator
constantly updated about the condition of the system.
Diedrich finds the cab to be comfortable for those long shifts in the orchards. He approves of the
upgrades in the new TGF 9400-CAB. I really like the newest model. They made quite a bit of
improvement for functionality of the cab over the original models. I like the way the windows are set, the
way the seats are set and the new balanced 4 cylinder engine to eliminate vibrations, Diedrich said.
The TGF 9400-CAB is an ideal tractor for tight spaces. When the driver disengages the front axle and
uses the steering brakes, the turning circle is reduced to a minimum, creating a superbend effect that
increases the steering angle and eliminates locking. The tractor itself is very economical under the
conditions we use them, Diedrich said. We're able to run the motors at a low RPM.
Diedrich likes the tractors so well he uses them on his own place, Bill Diedrich Farms, where he has 800-
acres of orchards, row crops and cotton.

I went into the orchard business with my father Martin Peterson in 1971. We are currently farming 120
acres with several varieties of pears and apples, and most recently, some cherries. Bob Peterson, owner

In the summer of 2003 Bob Peterson purchased a TRG 9400 to use in the lower density blocks. Right
away we noticed several improvements over the earlier models, he said. Better brakes, an improvement

7. A cabined tractor that fits in the vineyard

An interview with Bobby Bianco, Owner of Anthony Vineyards Overhead-Vegetables don't leave much
room for a tractor. We just went to the new trellis system and we needed a low-profile tractor, Bianco
said. We researched low-profile tractors and felt the Antonio Carraro tractors were the best.
He bought an Antonio Carraro TF 9400-CAB a year and a half ago. Pleased with the Italian-made tractor,
he bought two more six months ago. Bianco, co-owner of Anthony Vineyard with his brother Dominic, has
3,500 acres of table grape vineyards in the Coachella and San Joaquin Valleys. The brothers also have
an additional 1,500 acres devoted to citrus, dates and vegetables. They used John Deere tractors before
turning to the Carraro tractors, but John Deere didn't have a low-profile tractor with a cab that would work
in the vineyards.
Cabbed tractors are needed in the vineyard, as drivers are spraying pesticides and driving in dusty
conditions. And there is also the heat.
Coachella Valley has harsh conditions. It gets up to 120 degrees, Bianco said. A cabined tractor is
safer and more comfortable for the employee. Most of the tractors I'm buying now are all cabbed.
Carraro's super low profile tractor, at 67 inches high, is the lowest cabined tractor on the market. The
pressurized version of the cab uses a special carbon active filter that allows the operator to breath clean
air while spraying crops. The tractor is streamlined with no sharp edges, allowing work in narrow rows
without damaging plants or fruit. Built like a racecar to fit between the vines, the cabin is still comfortable.
It's like getting into a Corvette, Bianco said. But it's roomier than you think. We have an employee who
is 6'2 and he fits just fine.

with the tractors' performance. I'm pleasantly surprised, Bianco said. I've heard horror stories about
foreign tractors. But the reliability of this tractor is very good.
