5. The museum

9. There we had some running competitions in
which both students and teachers took part. The
first running competition was held between the
male students of the Comenius program, then
the girls followed and afterwards the teachers.
After the end of the running competitions
everyone admitted that they felt really honored
since they got the chance to run in the oldest
stadium of the world!

10. • Everyone had a lot of fun, but they also felt
amazed and excited since they've got the
chance to visit such an important
archeological site .Afterwards an award
ceremony was planned were the winners of
each running competition got a branch from
an olive tree, which is what the ancient
runners used to get as an award also. During
the award ceremony all of us felt happy to be
a part of that.

13. • For us, the Greek students, was a
chance to get closer to our traditions
and to have a taste of how our
ancestors used to spend their free
time back then.

14. In the questionary, that our guests
answered before their departure,
mentioned that the running
competitions in Olympia was the
best activity of the whole week.
