The role of PEM is to serve the Pentecostal churches and movements in Europe by: Empowering them for world missions Engaging in world missions activities under its structure as agreed upon by its members.  Roleof PEM

Establishing strong indigenous churches We want to follow the four-self principle:  Self-governing, self-supporting, self-propagating,  and self-theologising The indigenous church is not to be led, governed, financed, nor is its practical theology to be decided from outside. Including all age groups from children to seniors Missions training and programmes are provided for all age groups: children, youth, adults, and the elderly. Welfare of the involved people We give attention to member care of missionaries, education of their  children,  and welfare of the PEM office and other workers.

PEM is providing training, conferences, consultations, information, materials, services, networks, etc. to equip European churches to be involved in missions. Impact the quality of missions by providing certification criteria for various areas of mission activities. Networking and Involvement Develop strong networks consisting of PEM member organisations, PEF churches, and international partners, all of which are participating in missions. Doing cross-cultural holistic missions PEM is initiating additional joint humanitarian actions, special missions programmes, etc.

Human Resource Management Principle Need - Personnel sent as missionaries by cooperating organizations to serve PEM full-time in the following areas: Create a bank of experts in missionary member care Member organizations will provide their experts to be contacted. These experts will form a team defining needs and action plans. Experts will be available to help when called upon by an organization which has a need. Specialized teams for different areas of ministry (immigrants, short term missions, web page...) Missionary training PEM Mission Course Scholarship funds foundation for: Fida Missions Course, BA or MA CTS missions course Other recommended mission -education programmes Create a medium-term programme with training and practice (not a summer course) Explore Bible school possibilities (CTS etc.) to create longer practical programmes, including discipling
