2. (1) Title: Designing and Up-gradation of existing two lane highway to the four lane
highway.
Description:
Initially, the existing two lane road condition and strength was determined through
functional & structural investigation at site, so called as Pavement Condition Survey, Test Pit
Investigation & BBD Test. There after adequate quantity of pavement materials brought to the
laboratory for conducting required strength test. Traffic surveys were also conducted to understand
the present traffic and forecasting to the design period of 15years.
Temperature & Seasonal correction factors are applied for the obtained BBD data, and the
overlay design of existing two-lane road was done as per the IRC: 81-1997. The additional new two
lane were design as per the Mechanistic – Empirical Design procedure given in IRC: 37-2012 with
the help of IITPAVE software.

 Participation Certificate form ACME CADD for STAAD PRO.
 Participation Certificate in National Green Corps.
 Internship Certificate from Eclat Engineering Consultants for the project of Designing
