2. SEVEN SPIRITS
Rev 4:5 mentions there were seven lamps of fire
burning before the throne, which are the seven
Spirits of God. In 5:6, there is a lamb as it had
been slain having seven horns and seven eyes
which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into
all the earth. These Spirits, lamps, horns, and
seven eyes are one and equal, denoting power
or horns, seven eyes are denoting wisdom or
abilities to see the end from the beginning, and
power to bring it about. These Spirits of the
Lamb go forth into all the earth.
It seems that if these are for the same purpose,
to glorify God and the lamb, they all work for the
same purpose to God's kingdom of Heaven
people or people of the kingdom. This lamb has
power (horns) and eyes (wisdom) to reveal his
glory and truth in a complete or perfect way
(lamps).
In the scriptures, there are seven places with
names such as the Spirit of Adoption (Rom
8:15). In the kingdom, we need this great.
blessing to be able to serve and feel that this
great heavenly power is our Father and also
power to bring us to the understanding how
much we need Him. This experience enables us
to be a son of the kingdom. The Israelites
received a form of adoption in Rom 9:4. As they.
1
3. lost their fellowship with God through unbelief,
so also can we.
The Spirit of Grace (Heb 10:29) brings about the
truth of grace. Many of God's people believe the
bible teaches grace but they are not able to trust
in it. It takes the Spirit of Grace in its power
(horns) and wisdom (eyes) for us to know the
grace in truth (Col 1:6). It is like a lamp or bright
light shining from the throne for us to see
ourselves in great need of grace and then for us
to grasp fully that we are receivers of grace in a
very special way. The truth becomes plain as to
why we received it.
The Spirit of Truth (In 14:17) or Holy Ghost is
according to promise on the heirs of this grace
and is the ruling power in the New Covenant
Kingdom and is administered by the Lamb that
was slain, having seven horns and seven eyes.
It is able to open our understanding of
Revelations and also is able to withstand the
Spirit of Error (1Jn 4:6). The Spirit of Error rules
in the kingdoms of this world, or anti-Christ, but
the Spirit of Truth is able to rule in the kingdom
of God and in our lives.
The Spirit of Glory (1 Pet 4: 14) is very great in
power and understanding, bringing great joy in
time of reproach and called a fiery trial, yet when
the lamp of understanding shines on us, this
Spirit of Glory praises God and on others they
2
4. speak evil of it. Ch 5:4 brings out the truth. The
Chief Shepherd has appeared and given us a
crown of Glory that fades not away. Even sinful
enemies can see this in us (lamps).
The Spirit of Prophecy (Rev 19:10) enables us in
a time of desolation and lack of Spirit to get a joy
of realizing what our God is going to bring about.
Jacob's great love for Rachel made all those
years seem as a short time. Our great
testimony of Jesus in dark times is to believe
that He will come and deliver.
The Spirit of Judgement (1Sa 4:4) is precious to
us to enable us to fear God and this revelation
He will bring about his righteous judgements (In
16: 11). The Holy Ghost gives us the Spirit of
Judgement of how to pass judgement or refrain
from judgement. Michael, the Archangel, durst
not bring a railing accusation against Satan, but
said the Lord rebuke thee. Yet there are times
when we are to judge with a righteous
judgement. We would not be able to do this
right except the one with seven eyes and also
seven horns or power.

5. ALL THINGS
Mathew 17:20 and Mathew 21:21-22
I would answer that it means all things that He
has promised and are included in the sure
mercies of David. Yet, they are limited to us
believing that we receive them. At this time, my
experience with prayer is that God is causing a
fast. As one writer explains, God says, "I will
return to my place and there they will seek me
and shall find me." We know that Jesus
returned to heaven victorious and sat down at
the right hand of God and great power and glory
was given Him, yet we don't feel His power or
even believe in this power. We say we know He
is able but will He perform? That is unbelief.
Yet, I think we are waking up to notice this. We
go to our meeting and an Elder will pray a long
elaborate prayer seemingly in a great Spirit.
Then the preacher will preach with great liberty
and emotion and the congregation will not be
much moved to be in like Spirit. We won't be
affected much after the meeting is over. As we
see and feel this, doubt and unbelief will set in
and it will seem that it is God's fault that He
promised but didn't deliver like He said. We
should be praying fervently about this situation,
rather than asking God to do something for us.
Jesus promised that if we ask God something
(Luke 11: 12) and we are hungering and thirsting
for His answer, He will give us His Spirit. Now
4
6. this Spirit will give us what we need. It is the
Spirit of Truth and will guide us into all truth. We
probably will receive things different from what
we thought we needed.
We have a problem in our church and we all met
to pray for this individual. We were to take turns
as we felt impressed. Immediately one Elder,
who I love very dearlY,warned us.aU that we
might not get the results we wanted, that it might
take time. How did he know it might not be
answered? The bible says that when you pray,
believe that you will receive it. Now say that that
(believing) is our starting feeling and our petition
fails. What then? If you believed according to
God's promise and didn't have it answered, our
next prayer to God believing is to ask the reason
why. As God is truth and in Him is light or truth,
we should ask Him, IIWhat is it that shuts out our
fellowship?" In the 58th chapter of Isaiah, these
people are fasting and are complaining that God
is not honoring their sufferings in trying to please
Him. They think they are fasting but it is God
that is causing the fast to try to change them (3rd
verse). They should not try to hide from their
own flesh, do the things that please God (verse
10), when they realize their wrongs, then their
light shines out of darkness and they begin to
prosper in Spirit and in the end of this
experience, we can see plainly that our prayers
were answered. If you believe the scriptures, all
5
7. things you ask in Christ's name are because of
Him and to give Him glory, it will come to pass in
God's way. This is the meaning of the scripture.·
"When you ask anything in my name, believe
that you receive it." In Mat 21, about the barren
fig tree, Christ is showing his power to blast or
kill because He didn't want anybody to ever eat
of it ever again, and told His disciples if they had
faith, they could do the same. It is a parable of
something in our lives that would cause others
to imitate, retaliate, offend, or cause suffering. It
could be an addiction that causes others to
suffer or an idol we follow or worship that you
wished others wouldn't be burdened with it. You
would see that your way is not a good one for
your brethren to follow, yet your desire for it is so
strong and can't find it within yourself to quit.
With your faith in Christ, you command it to die.
This faith is found in 1st In 5:4. This is the faith
that is born in us and is powerful enough to
overcome the world that is in us. What our
brethren would eat off of us would be love, joy,
fellowship, good counsel, a readiness for us to
help. This is one of the "all things".

8. SALT
The subject is salt and I don't have any desire to
contradict anybody, just some things I have
studied on the subject and meaning of salt. I
don't think it has different meaning but a
continual thought through the bible (Lev 2 to Col
4:6). In Lev 2:3, it is talking of a meat or food
offering made with fire. There is to be no
leaven, fine or white flour, not whole wheat,
mingled with olive oil. It can be baked in a pan
with oil. It can be fried with oil put on it. Sixth
verse: you burn it on the altar, an offering made
with fire as a sweet savor. Verse 11 states that
you cannot put honey on this offering because
salt is what makes it sweet. Verse 13 states that
every oblation shall be seasoned with salt. It is.
called the salt covenant and with all thy offerings
thou shall offer salt. This salt covenant shall
hold all through the bible. Some times literally
and then spiritually. Incidentally, we are also
talking about shew bread and communion bread
today. Num 18:19 also brings this out. These
scriptures are a type and shadow of something
to come in our New Testament lives.
11 Kings 2:20 brings this great change in
dispensations as the difference between Elijah
and Elisha. I look forward as well as you for
things to change in the church in a new,
powerful way. Here comes Elisha with a double
7
9. portion of Elijah's spirit to a city with a pleasant
situation, but the water is no good, not fit to
drink, and the ground is barren. Sounds like
churches not bringing forth not much fruit and
also thirsting. Do you make the water sweet or
tasty? Elisha put salt in it. "Thus saith the Lord I
have healed these waters and there shall not be
from thence any more death or barren land."
Now this is opposite to nature but it is God's
covenant that salt is His way.
Job 6:6: The answer to the questions in verse 5
is "no," so can anything unsavory be eaten
without salt? The answer is no. In Ezek 47:11,
salt here is a judgment even as Lots wife is a
judgment. This water is typical of a great new
day according to God's grace, but where the salt
is a great judgment. In Mk 10:43-50, picture the
New Covenant where the law is written in the
heart and mind and is for the purpose of bringing
us down to believe in our own depravity and is
done by condemnation or "fire" and brings about
a condition in ourselves that we are very corrupt
and sinful; also helpless and in the need of
God's grace. This is to be "salted by fire".
When Christ, our Saviour, is revealed to us, we
offer our sacrifice of praise and thanks giving out
of an humble spirit. This is well pleasing to God
because it is offered from an humble spirit. As
Isaiah wrote, "To this man will I look who has a
broken spirit and a contrite heart and tremblest
8
10. at my word." This Spirit in our selves is salt. If
we use this in our speech, we can speak with
gracious words seasoned with salt. Now if we
lose this spirit and become vain, we tread under
foot the Son of God and have done despite unto
the Spirit of Grace. We then come under
judgment; God puts us back under His law and
our great blessing of being changed turns into
punishment. We become the salt places and we
become like Lots wife, a pillar of salt as in Lk
17:32. She looked back, longing for what she
left. "Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall
lose it."
Mk 9: Salt is good but if we lose our saltiness
where with will we season our prayers and
sacrifices to God.
