2. Pre-Production
Before we started filming we had to create a blogger
account to upload our work onto.
We also looked at using Final Cut Express and how
to use the cameras and tripods that we would be
using for our film.
We created a questionnaire with google docs to find
out what people thought of our story line
We also looked at producing a script using
Celtex

3. Production
We filmed our project using Sony HDV cameras, we
recorded on to tape as it produces the best quality
picture.
Some shots had to be re-shot due to insufficient lighting.
We got around this problem by creating additional light
sources or re-arranging those we had already.
Most of our shots required a tri-pod as we wanted the
shots to look stable, however for some shots we mounted
it on our shoulders either to fit where the tri-pod couldn’t
or to get a more raw point of view shot.

4. Post-production
We used Final Cut Express to edit our film. After this
we uploaded our project to YouTube and shared it with
our friends on Facebook so we could get some
feedback.
We also created another questionnaire so we could get
an updated and broader view of our film in the eyes of
others.

5. Evaluation
What was successful?
Editing- I feel that the continuity in our film helped
the film to flow and made it more immersive for the
audience. Also the rhythmic editing during the title
sequence made the film more effective and interesting.
What was less successful?
Background noise/audio transitions- I feel that the
excessive background noise in the outdoor shots took
away from the story during the phonecall.
