2. Presenting to the Audience Be sure to make eye contact with the Audience Try to stay away from speaking in a Monotone Be enthused with what you are presenting! Because if you aren't enthused then why would your audience be? And last but not least remember to be smile
3. Presentations 101 Pick a topic you are familiar with, if not then do lots of research to become familiar with it. Be sure to give the audience a few moments to wake up. Be creative and orginal.
4. Using Technology Once you have your topic picked out think of all the fun ways you can incorporate technology. Technology can make a boring presentation into a fun and exciting presentation. Technology can enhance the presentation and lesson being taught.
5. Types of Technology There are many great ways to incorporate technology into a presentation. Prerecorded Cassettes and CD’s can be used to play sounds. Digital projectors are a great way to show picturesto a large group.
6. Types of Technology Cont’d Document cameras are a great way to show science experiments to the class as a whole! A microphone can be used to help project your voice through a room so that way everyone can hear what is being said.
7. A few tips from your friend Ashley Always spell check your work. Remember that everyone has a different way of learning and retaining information. If possible try to include things for Auditory, Visual, and Kinesthetic learners. Hand outs would be great for this! After any presentation give the audience time to ask questions.
