- The X PRIZE Foundation is a not-for-profit educational institution…
- We got our start with the Ansari X PRIZE….
- Prize was actually claimed—big shock to the industry. Huge news story. Inspiring.
- And now the winning vehicle hangs in the Air & Space Museum, right in the Milestones of Flight hall
- The story was such a big deal, we got the ultimate signs of popularity—we were on the Daily Show AND we got the google doodle!

- But let’s go back to the Moon.

- And we did! We blasted off…

- And we walked around
- And drove around

- But how much of the Moon did we really see?

- But perhaps most amazing is just thinking about the people who experienced Apollo.
- Half of the world’s population wasn’t alive the last time we were on the Moon. Think about that! Half of the world’s population!
- There’s really only one problem with Apollo. It was SO LONG AGO! This was a top-of the line camera during Apollo
- … and this was a cutting-edge video camera
- And this is what the computers looked like. And the workplace!
