- A Merry Christmas, Mr Scrooge!
The protagonist is Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly and stingy man
who does not celebrate the feast of Christmas because of his lonely
life and workaholism. Do not care about others, not even
his employee Bob Cratchit , all you care about is business and make
money. When going to ask for money for the poor, Scrooge says "No
prisons? Are there no homes?" and says that if people die, stop
overpopulation, people throwing Site.
One night, on Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by a ghost who
happens to be her best friend and partner, Jacob Marley, who died
seven years before the beginning of the story. The spectrum tells
you, for being greedy in life, all their wickedness has become a
long, heavy string to drag for eternity. He announces that Scrooge
has surpassed all its evils, therefore, when I die will have to take a
much longer chain and heavy. Then he announces the visit of
three spirits of Christmas, which will give the last chance to save
himself. Scrooge is not afraid and defies prediction.
That night, Scrooge awakens to find the Ghost of Christmas
Past, radiating light and looks like a child, accompanying
tells, first shown as a lonely child, who is only in school all
summer reading, then, shows his sister Fanny, who will look to
take home and come together there, the ghost reminds you to
have a child died, his nephew, Fred. Then he shows his
apprenticeship, his master Fezziwig, Dick Wilkins and his
girlfriend. Then he shows a sad scene, in which his girlfriend
leaves him because he had become rich and did not care
Christmas.
Finally comes the Ghost of Christmas Present that makes you
see the miser the current situation of the family of his employee
Bob Cratchit, who despite their poverty and illness of his son
Tim, celebrates Christmas, Scrooge asks Tim survive if the ghost,
the ghost tells him die, and says no matter, "it will stop
overpopulation" Scrooge for his embarrassing behavior. Then the
Spirit shows how all people celebrate Christmas, even Scrooge's
nephew, Fred, celebrates Christmas in an ironic way but happy
(because guests do not want the presence of the miser). In the
end, the ghost takes Scrooge a clock where notices a claw coming
out of his robe, the Ghost opens and reveals a boy and a girl who
are poverty and ignorance, when Scrooge asks if there primary
caregivers, the child asks "Is there no prisons?" and the girl asks
"No asylums?", the Phantom grows old and dies quickly.
The Ghost of Christmas Future , silent and somber, shows
the most heartbreaking thing: the fate of the greedy. His
house was ransacked by the poor, sober remembrance of
his friends in the stock market, the death of Tim Cratchit
and most frightening: his owntomb, to which Scrooge is
horrified and tries to finally convince the spirit that is
willing to change if he invests the destination. In the
end, the miser wakes from his nightmare and becomes a
generous and kind man.
Changing lives it himself when Scrooge finally celebrates
Christmas, a young man makes you buy the turkey and
send it to your employee Cratchit without disclosing who
sent him. Then goes outside to greet people with a Merry
Christmas and enters his nephew Fred's house to
celebrate, causing astonishment among the
guests. Regarding Cratchit, pretends tardy rebuke him for
his work, gives a raise and goes with him to help the
family and especially to Tim in his treatment of the
disease, which ultimately cause them happiness in doing
memorable phrase of little Tiny Tim : And may God bless
us all .
