1. Who would be the audience for
your media product?

2. My target audience is mainly females but there will
be a few male readers. All have an interest in music
and caring for each other and the planet. There will
be a very wide age range in my audience because
some people will be new to listening to this kind of
music and therefore be in their teens/late teens
whereas some will be people who have always
listened to this music because they were born/lived
in the era of it. Therefore the people listening to this
could be quite young or rather old or anything in
between.

3. The first image would be a good target audience
because the girl is very retro and in the age range
of my target audience as well as the main gender
focus. She wears similar clothes to that of the
popular clothing around the era of this music’s
popularity and she is outdoors which shows she
enjoys being outside and therefore must care
about the environment.

4. The second picture is a good representation of my target audience as they fit in to the age range and
they all also adopt the fashion from the psychedelic era. There is a peace symbol on one of their cut-
outs which shows that they are friendly and positive and care about others and everything around
them. They are outdoors and smiling and there are even boys in this picture who may be interested in
reading Homage.

5. The third image shows that the age range of my
audience is very broad as these people are a lot
older than the first but are also wearing the
same style clothes and seem to be positive and
friendly. The old woman also has her fingers in
the ‘peace’ sign and this shows again that they
are positive and caring. Finally they are outdoors
which emphasises my belief of my target
audience.

6. The final image shows a girl who is not quite
the same to the rest of the people but would
also be considered as an audience for my
magazine as she is smiling outdoors and
wearing retro clothing with earthy colours.
Therefore she is positive, likes the outdoors
and still enjoys the era of which my music
magazine is focused on.
