23. Unfortunately – these laws have proven to be
ineffective since, as shown, we still see the same
tabloid fodder on our store shelves as before.
24. Questions Remain:
• How are children and teenagers supposed to
understand that it is not right to bully someone
through the use of gossip and rumours, when they are
exposed to it daily?
• Why has it become socially acceptable to allow
the media and paparazzi to practice these
bullying tactics openly?
• Can better laws be implemented that would
dissuade the paparazzi and the gossiping
entertainment media from continuing their
socially irresponsible reporting tactics?
