2. Dr. Micheal Acquista
With over 25 years of experience and plenty of continuing education on the latest techniques, Dr. Michael
Acquista is dedicated to providing the finest dental care to his
patients. Dr. Acquista is one of the few dentists that still does

After receiving his B.A. from Columbia University in 1977, he
was awarded his dental degree from the Columbia University
School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1981.
Over the years, Dr. Acquista has pursued his passion for cosmetic
dentistry. He has participated in lectures and workshops with some
of the most renowned cosmetic dentists, such as Drs. Smigel,
Nash, Dickerson and Kanca, and has assimilated many of these
advanced techniques in cosmetic bonding, porcelain laminates,
ceramics, cosmetic dentures and implant restoration into his
practice.
Dr. Acquista was a long-time member of a prestigious national
implant study group and has expanded his knowledge and
expertise restoring implants and incorporating implant techniques
as a viable treatment option.
Another aspect of dentistry that is very gratifying to Dr. Acquista is delivering comfortable, quality root
canal therapy. He has worked for several other dentists performing root canal procedures exclusively on
their patients.
Dr. Acquista is also committed to improving the lives of his fellow dentists. He serves as a member of the
Board of Trustees of the New York Academy of General Dentistry and is currently the NYAGD area
Vice President for Brooklyn. Dr. Acquista was a delegate at the Academy of General Dentistry national
meeting in June, 2012.
When he is not practicing, Dr. Acquista enjoys partaking in outdoor activities such as jogging, fishing,
kayaking and tennis.
Annette - Office Manager/Dental Assistant
Annette has been part of our dental team for 19 years and is the
most loving, caring and accommodating person a patient (and
Doctor) could ever want. She prides herself in taking care of our
patients needs, from her first contact with them over the phone to
greeting them in our office. She also assists Dr. Acquista in
making sure patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their
procedure. She is always happy to answer any and all question our
patients may have.

the desire to be a resource as well as encouraging everyone to be knowledgeable for their own benefit. He
can review your diet, activity and supplements and make suggestions for improvement. At the office of
Dr. Acquista, your voice will be heard and you will be the
focus of attention.
Scheduling Appointments
To make an appointment, you can call us at the number
listed above or fill out the form on our Request an
Appointment page. We ask that if there is any reason that
you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please give us
at least 48 hours notice. Dr. Acquista is available to take
your calls on his days off, as all calls are forwarded
directly to his cell phone, not an answering machine. If
you have a dental emergency, Dr. Acquista will make
every effort to see you the same day as your call. He has
even been known to travel in from the Hamptons while
on vacation to see a patient in pain.
