3. INTRODUCTION
I chose this country Iraq because it is really nice and
because my friend came from Iraq and third of all I like the
language and the music and the songs that they sing. I am so
lucky that I chose Iraq as my country because I learned a lot.
The population of Iraq is about 31,234,000.
4. GEOGRAPHY
Iraq is a country in the Middle East. Iraq is surrounded by
turkey which is in the north. To the south is Saudi
Arabiya, and Kuwait. To the east there is Iran. Last but not
least there is Syria and Jordan.
5. CULTURE
Iraq has a very cool culture. In Iraq there are celebrations
like weddings, feastings, pep rally and carnivals. Iraq’s
food is very tasty and spicy like fish’s chicken’s and so. The
music in Iraq is very popular like Maqam which they use
drums and zithers for the nice music that they make.
6. HISTORY
The first true civilization in world history has appeared in
Mesopotamia. This development has taken place on the
fertile flood plains of the rivers such as tinges Euphrates.
Here, the fertile soil brought down from the mountains by
the great rivers has given rise to much denser population
than elsewhere. The arid climate, plus dangerous spring
floods, has called for the creation of large-scale watercontrol system, to channel and store water for cops, also to
protect communities from the raging waters.
7. CLIMATE
The average temperature in Iraq ranges from higher than
48 degree c and 120 f. A majority of the rainfall occurs from
December through April. Rain is more abundant in the
mountainous Region and may reach up to 100 centimeters a
year. In some places the Iraqi climate is similar to that of the
extreme south western United States with hot, dry summers,
cold winters, and a pleasant spring fall. The climate affects
the people because in the hot times they stay outdoors so
they could get cucumbers and tomato’s.
8. ECONOMY
. Historically, Iraq’s economy was characterized by heavy
dependence on oil exports and emphasis on development
through central planning. Prior to the outbreak of the war
with Iran in September 1980, Iraq’s economic prospects were
bright. Oil production had reached plus a level 3.5 million
barrels per day, and oil revenues were $21 billion in 1979
and $27 billion in 1980 and the money is called dinar

10. CONCLUSION
Iraq is a nice country. I learned a lot of this country
like, interesting facts about the population and the culture
also the climate. So today I learned a lot of the country Iraq. I
want to know if the water is good so I could swim there, if I
travel. I feel so impressed by myself I mean a big project I did
and finished. I hope I get a good grade because I worked so
hard on this.
