This document summarizes 6 technology trends presented by Brenda Hough on November 4, 2010. The trends are: 1) Soliciting user input, 2) Hyperlocalization or creating localized content, 3) Free and easy to use tools and services, 4) Adding fun through technology, 5) Increasing mobile access, and 6) Facilitating lifelong learning. Examples are given for each trend and discussion questions provided to help libraries apply these trends. The presentation aims to kick off the day by highlighting important technology directions and tools for libraries.
